How awesome would it be for Cal to come to a post-game presser and just crush SEC officiating practices during his tenure at UK?Yup. Every game UK has multiple players with foul issues and it is getting old. Cal should use this as a pulpit to bring the issue to light. He can afford the fine.
Can't imagine there are a lot of young, bright people waiting to jump into the profession.
Sirmons officiated the Wisconsin game last year. Just sayin...
Doug Sirmons lives right down the road from me apparently. Some guy posted his address on Twitter. Has two houses down here. Any requests?
The big problem is when the refs low a call, they get mad at the coaches for showing them up and just can't admit they made a mistake. So if you've got a bad ref you get screw twice, once on the call and then on the TSome officials don't have the personality for the job , Sirmons is one of those refs . He's a bad official that is far too sensitive , the games image is harmed by refs like him .
Actually the refs during the UT were wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy worse. I stand by my statement that the refs during the game at UT were on the fix or something as I watched it 3 times and I counted 11 phantom fouls called and a bunch of other nonsense. Today the refs were awful but only as bad as they were during the KU game. Either way UK should be on a 8 game winning streak but I think it has taught them they just can't be good enough to win they have to be amazing and blow people out.I have been a vocal opponent of all the ref posts here over the years when blaming calls for a loss. Typically, there are some good call and bad ones in a game. You can visit other program's boards and you may see similar fans complaining as all fans seems to forget the ones to their favor but remember every call against their team.
But, this South Carolina game no matter that Kentucky blew them out, I have never seen so many one-sided bad calls against the visiting team. Plus, it wasn't just bad calls but how the home team could bully their way to the basket without calls but when Kentucky did even a slight push there was the whistle. I don't blame Cal for his outburst early as that call was at first correct against South Carolina but then it was called the other way.
So, I have to admit when I am wrong. A close game where we weren't hitting 3's could have been a robbery.
I was in the same boat as you were in but I fell out of that boat weeks ago. I don't usually agree with your posts but I agree with this one.Actually the refs during the UT were wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy worse.
