I know itās very difficult to sue someone for that and win. You have to prove all sorts of things. Maybe a lawyer on here can explain it in more detail. I just know itās a pain in the *** to win.
You have to prove a false statement and damage to reputation unless that statement involves certain subjects (sexual promiscuity, a crime, business). Pope is a public figure, so he would have to prove actual malice. For posters here, that would probably be provable by the ugliness they display toward him. LOL

To me it doesnāt matter if the op owns the twitter account and made it up or not. Clearly recruits actually do think heās weird or something else as bad or worse because heās missed on recruits at a rate never seen at UK before. Even Billy didnāt strike out this much. Hell we canāt even give away money to most of these kids.
Is it that outlandish at this point, May 6th, to think Pope is weird on visits? Im not saying hes a total clown on them, but something isnt going right. There is a clear disconnect between what hes selling and what these kids are buying.

How convenient. If a rumor emphasizes your viewpoint, just pass it right through no vetting necessary. Pope haters don't care where it comes from if it makes him look bad.

He would have to prove that that statement cost him anything. How it prevented him from recruiting, making money, etc.. he couldnāt prove damages from that at all. It would be laughed out of court. Plus itās a rumor or hearsay in the first place of a public figure.

That's why it always amazes me when people are quick to believe and spread stuff they see on Twitter/X (or whatever it's called). 99% of X information is complete garbage. I know people lost faith in the media, but the media has to be better than the fake crap on X.
I don't doubt that recruits find Pope weird, but I doubt that random guy on X has any actual knowledge of it.
