According to the article linked below, Demas signed with Texas A&M and played for them in 2020 and 2021. Then he was suspended because of legal troubles, which involved family violence assault charges. He didn't play in 2022 and transferred to Garden City Community College for the 2023 season.

This is a huge risk for Rhule. Tom had the political capital to get away with taking a guy with this baggage but that was before social media. Do it once maybe I give a 2nd chance. Twice, not so much. What he needs is for the whole D line room to sit him down and tell him “you do it again and we’ll break both of your arms and stomp on your hands”. No doubt that was what he grew up with at home”.

What if that fails? Waterboarding?

Seriously? Find a different receiver to offer, there’s hundreds of them. You don’t want wife/gf beaters on our football team or coaching staff. Scum of the earth, second to child molesters

While I agree we will need to expand the RB room, Rahmir's injury was a separated shoulder so I don't see why he wouldn't be like he was. I'll be surprised if he comes back anyway but for a RB, an upper body injury isn't normally as devastating as a lower body injury.

I think these days people are more tolerant about giving second chances. Now of course if a player commits a really bad offense while on the team, then people do expect to see that player dismissed.

Ehh, I'd give a dude like this another chance considering he went to aTm. The culture there is as tone deaf as it gets. Surely a lot of enabling from their cult members.

“Barta is the nation’s No. 1,649 overall prospect and No. 155 safety in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking.” Not a big loss if he flips.
Actually, it’s funny because recently I was looking at our commit list and specifically the bottom rated 3-4 recruits and hoping we moved on to others… I think we are letting Barta go and may do the same with others.
As it is, someone said that 2 receivers from this last class moved to DB.
I love that the coaches are actively moving the roster around.

I have two.

aren't you the guy who repeatedly defended Mickey Joseph's actions?
There’s a difference between questioning the veracity of reports and defending the actions. I told my wife before we married to never do that to me because I KNEW I had an anger management problem and I was afraid of what I might do.

There would have been no excuse for me to do it. That said there were some legitimate concerns about the accuracy of the police reports on Mickey’s deal as to who was there and how things transpired.
