I'm not counting out Brody Belt.I think we should expect to be w/o an every down back for a while.
Im hoping so.They will be here
Im hoping so.
Though getting two As and a B in junior college? In one quarter? Thats a pretty tall task. VERY challenging.

Do they even offer those classes at football factory JCs? Serious question. English literature (which is exceedingly vague) i could see. But football players taking Trig, Calc or Chemistry at JC?A semester. If they are basket weaving and art, no biggie but if they are trig, calc, chem, English Literature, or similar classes, yes it could be challenging, even at a JC.
Um yes Trig, Calc and Chemistry are available at a JC. It's not probable that those are the classes he's taking though unless he's planning on becoming an actuarial or physician.Do they even offer those classes at football factory JCs? Serious question. wheres lori loughlin when you need her...?
If he starts and That long blonde haired kid, Nelson, from way out in western NE starts...the huskers simply won't lose a game all year!!!!Wyatt Mazour
For those of you that are more knowledgeable on the rb situation than myself. How real is that Mo and Mills are not on the roster come fall?
IMO it's very dicey for both of them. Mo has both legal and grade challenges. Mills is on the ragged edge of qualifying academically. In addition, no one knows for sure if newcomer Thompkins will be sufficiently over his terrible injury to be able to play or not in the Fall. For those of you that are more knowledgeable on the rb situation than myself. Brody Belt will be starting running back on the Red team(the starters). What does that say for where Bradley is at now?
Belt and Mazour are the top 2 backs that are playing in the Spring Game. Jaylin is at the kid's table. Look for him as a possible transfer.Brody Belt will be starting running back on the Red team(the starters). What does that say for where Bradley is at now?
I'm super bummed about that. I loved his HS film, thought he was gonna be a good one. Hope he doesn't end up as David Horne 2.0Belt and Mazour are the top 2 backs that are playing in the Spring Game. Jaylin is at the kid's table. Look for him as a possible transfer.
While I agree, one Positive, I guess, is these coaches aren’t playing games.I'm super bummed about that. I loved his HS film, thought he was gonna be a good one. Hope he doesn't end up as David Horne 2.0
This post shows some serious lack of knowledge, or more likely you are just taking a potshot at community colleges. However, just in case you are serious: A quick Google search would inform you that the JC label hardly exists anymore. The label was mostly replaced by Community College at least 40 or 50 years ago. As for their course offerings, most taxpayer supported community colleges coordinate course offerings with four year state-supported colleges in their states such that their grads can enter the four year school as a junior. Many students follow that path, mostly to save many thousands of dollars in tuition and fees, not because the schools are crappy “football factories.” In Arizona, for example, one would probably think the freshman classes at ASU, NAU and UofA would be much larger than the junior classes due to attrition. In fact the junior classes typically are much larger, mostly because of the huge numbers of community college students entering the universities as juniors.Do they even offer those classes at football factory JCs? Would think at present that Jaylin is behind a walk-on, a former walk-on, Miles and then whoever is available come August (Mo, Mills and the summer new scholarship guys). May already be behind Moses. While I agree, one Positive, I guess, is these coaches aren’t playing games.
If you don’t do what you’re supposed to do, you won’t play. The cream rises to the top.
Yeah im taking a pot shot at community colleges. From personal experience I dont believe that they are the same as four year universities. This post shows some serious lack of knowledge, or more likely you are just taking a potshot at community colleges. I wonder if worse comes to worst that Wandale would play RB more often than not.IMO it's very dicey for both of them. Mo has both legal and grade challenges. Mills is on the ragged edge of qualifying academically. In addition, no one knows for sure if newcomer Thompkins will be sufficiently over his terrible injury to be able to play or not in the Fall.
RB could easily turn into the weakness of the team in the fall unless something goes our way.
Perhaps a better way to see things wrt RB is that if Jaylin were in line for play in the fall, he would be on the 1 line with the Red Team on Saturday, given the depth at the position. Spring game touches mean something if you are going into your third year and you are on the White team behind a walk-on and a former walk-on. Although Devine was on the White team last year, so maybe there's hope for Jaylin.A lot will change between now and October. We saw a moderate amount of Mazour and Wilbon in the spring game last year and they were nowhere to be found come fall.
Spring Game touches predict next to nothing.
I agree. Last year I'm not sure what the coaches thought they had at running back. In the spring game, they simply went with what the previous staff had given them. Between Wilbon, Ozigbo, and Bradley nobody really impressed them.Perhaps a better way to see things wrt RB is that if Jaylin were in line for play in the fall, he would be on the 1 line with the Red Team on Saturday, given the depth at the position. And then Zig put some serious work in during the summer and put himself in position to take his spot.I agree. Last year I'm not sure what the coaches thought they had at running back. How do you explain Washington last year? He didn’t come til late in the summer, and seemed to do just fine.If true, he won’t likely be able to pick up the playbook...or be able to work hard enough to fit in. Work ethic and aptitude are transferable qualities.
