Given the sequence of events so often seen in the college coaching and athletic director hires/fires got me thinking. I'm going to paint a picture.
Several years ago Mullen is a contender for the UF coaching position and turns it down supposedly. Of course everything was on the upswing for Mississippi State and downswing for Florida. What are the chances that Strickland and Mullin have an inside deal going that Mullin knows now that his quarterback has left and knows how it went with urban Meyer at Florida and so many other coaches. What if Strickland excepts position at Florida knowing after a couple of years say Florida coach fails and Mullen succeeds or fails Stricklin comes after him. Might not be the best description but you get my idea.
