Given the sequence of events so often seen in the college coaching and athletic director hires/fires got me thinking. I'm going to paint a picture.

Several years ago Mullen is a contender for the UF coaching position and turns it down supposedly. Of course everything was on the upswing for Mississippi State and downswing for Florida. What are the chances that Strickland and Mullin have an inside deal going that Mullin knows now that his quarterback has left and knows how it went with urban Meyer at Florida and so many other coaches. What if Strickland excepts position at Florida knowing after a couple of years say Florida coach fails and Mullen succeeds or fails Stricklin comes after him. Might not be the best description but you get my idea.

Next time you have a random thought, just take a **** instead. It'll sound better and smell the same.

Dammit. I'm not sure what was worse...the last month as an MSU sports fan or reading your post.

You know, my grandfather smoked cigars nearly his entire life. Never saw him without one. Stunk up his house, his car, his clothes, but he loved them. That is until he developed a spot on his lung. Unfortunately, he didn't go quickly, suffering through the last few years of his life. He would tell me every time he saw me, whatever you do son, don't smoke. Don't make the same mistakes I made. So I promised him I would never take a smoke. But now I regret that, because I read your post and it gave me cancer anyway.

^^not original, but still funny^^

The only coach I worry about him poaching is Vic Shaefer if they wind up needing a coach.

We should have a contest sometime to see who can make the most unintentional grammatical/spelling errors in one post. Misuse of similar sounding words is ubiquitous.

I love reading this board everyday because it's so entertaining. It does seem as though this board has become the Jim Rome show I actually used to listen to many years ago. Rome would say to the callers "have a take, don't suck". Every time someone posts something even if it's well intentioned posters on here come out in full force to blast the post or make fun of spelling/grammar. Losers
