This is a really bad take. It’s still a game. Against a coach who has multiple NC’s in the modern era. Downplaying it serves no purpose other than to help prop up your argument which has merit without pissing on the biggest win on that season.
His argument that the bowl game was a scrimmage had NO merit.

How is it a big win? When players "opt out" we all know how little relevance the game has. People just refuse to acknowledge it because of the past. The purpose it serves is to acknowledge how unimportant bowls are...thankfully the 24 team playoff should eliminate them altogether. Long overdue...decades overdue.
Backing and filling again huh? NOW you are claiming that the bowl game has far less relevance due to the opt outs. I don’t know anyone, including me, who disagrees with that take. But it’s still a game NOT a scrimmage.

Determined to be the last person to go down with the Titanic huh? Your continued claim that a bowl game is a “scrimmage” probably tops the list of your clueless posts (and that covers a TON of ground).
I'm far from alone in this opinion but you believing it's clueless is even more proof I'm right

Correct...just like a scrimmage or preseason game has far less relevance. The outcome of the game has zero importance...each time more playoff teams were added it became more and more clear what they were.

I don't understand why you want to believe they're important, relevant or anything more than an exhibition. It's like pretending All Star games matter.
