We're definitely best when the three guards are on the floor together. I don't know if they all need to start, but all three should be playing 30-plus minutes in our big games.
That lineup got us off to a great start yesterday.Start Hagans, Maxey, Brooks, EJ,
Nick. IQ, Sestina 1st off bench, then
as game dictates ( fouls, matchups,
sub patterns etc..) give a few minutes
to others and minutes will depend
on play. Don't want players hitting
the proverbial wall come tournament.
Seems to me the team that finishes
well come NCAA time are the fresher
teams.
Quickley has to start, end of story. We need that offensive spark. I don't know why Cal rides him more than anyone. He makes 1 mistake Cal is on him so hard, but Ashton makes like 40 before Cal says something. I don't know why Cal won't start him. Our opening offensive efforts today was abysmal.

If that's the case, why not start 5 bench guys then come with the starters after the adrenaline wears off.Seems as though we start every game slow and beginning of 2nd half slow.
Just suggesting a game management plan. Not sure the answer to starting slow, but don't want IQ, Sestina picking up early fouls. Most teams come at us fired up, let that early adrenalin wear off then bring in IQ and Sestina.
