i understand this much. i know how both players play. and based on their play styles, i prefer Green on a UK team. but that doesn't necessarily answer the question. i have not seen any player mention that they would pick one over the other to play with. Everyone continues to mention Knox but i never saw anything about Know saying those things. not saying it didn't happen, i just wanted some more info on the topic
Knox has mentioned he wants to play with green, not a package deal by any means though. I personally really want Knox

This is all really interesting. Syracuse fans are questioning how their coaching staff could still be trying to flip Green back if the LOI is in, as Zag seems to imply. Thus, some are somewhat trusting the Orange13 guy.

However, doesn't the blog just say that the LOI has been signed, and the coach informed? If he is indeed coming to UK, this could be a plausible explanation for the confusion of Syracuse coaches. Maybe he has just signed the LOI (it only has to be dated by a certain date, right - not actually received?), has informed Cal he is coming, but he hasn't faxed it yet. This would still leave the Syracuse staff in the dark until he informs them he has signed with UK.

Just a thought, lol. I don't have a clue.

One more CB pick, from a guy who just changed his pick to foggy an hour ago, and now to UK in the last five minutes.

Must have heard something.

Of course, the CB could be absolutely off the mark.

The Orange13 source comes from some sort of an academic origin, while the other sources
appear to be more conventional and connected to the athletics department.

Connecting the dots, this is either a massive last minute conspiracy with a host of involved
parties taking part all in concert to liven up the kids announcement...

-- or --

The kid sees a ridiculously slim roster at SU, watches one of his friends commit to UK, sees
the well oiled machine in action and decides to trust his future with Cal and his undeniable
success of putting kids on the fast-track to their dreams.

I'm going with the latter.

A nice nuggeny from the sky is falling cuse fans lol

We literally drop all other PGs to kiss his *** and get stood up. UK not only makes Trae Young their priority but then sign Alexander a few days before and we still get boned. If anyone doubts the allure of Kentucky & Calipari or the power of WWW, this is now exhibit A.

The last few CB picks are from Lykins (Duke guy), Noel (Kansas), Fisher (UK), and Flinn (national).

It still doesn't mean anything concrete but apparently people in different circles are hearing the same thing.

I dunno how Cal does it...first it was Ullis who Iowa recruited for two years and Michigan State for one full year and Cal swooped in at the 11th hour after the Mudiay debacle and lands him. Then Bam was recruited for years by NC State signed, sealed and all but delivered and Cal got him to switch. And IF (and that's a big if) he gets Green Syracuse was heavy on him for the last two years.

LOL - now the SU salt miners are saying QG wouldn't start for them if they did land him. [laughing]

Those people are dumb. Syracuse fans are very high on Franklin Howard, who came on strong down the stretch last year and is the starting PG this year, but given the roster situation, they'd both likely have to start for us unless Tyus Battle returns for his sophomore season.

I'm liking the post over there saying half of us had never heard of Quade until 2 days ago.

Bless their hearts, they need to learn what fan base they are dealing with here. [laughing]

I want QG as much as anyone, but let's be classy here and not rub salt in their wound.

Huh?? And that was unclassy exactly how?

I found it humorous because they think UK fans on a UK message board don't closely follow top-flight recruits.
