A win over a top 30 team at home or a top 75 team on the road - really? By that brilliant definition Illinois tonight was not a Quad 1 win, but it would have been one had we beaten Vermont or Colgate on the road. Gimme a f'ing break.

Interesting thought. The mention of Colgate did have me thinking about Syracuse/Colgate.NCAA probably wants to encourage P5 teams to go on the road to mid-majors.. why? because P5 can leave the NCAA and start their own organization.
This is correct. It is highly unlikely they will climb to top 30 in the NET rankings, especially if they lose next week at Penn State. Not enough sizzle left even if they win their next two against NW and Nebraska.36 in the NET

It’s dumb very dumb. A road win over Maryland is treated the same as a road win against Vermont and Colgate. Very flawed
No, Vermont is 82 and Colgate is 112, so those would be Q2 away game losses. It’s dumb very dumb. A road win over Maryland is treated the same as a road win against Vermont and Colgate. Very flawed
