No. Draft isn’t until next week I believe. I know it’s soon.
Saturday and Sunday. Was reading bleacher report and they have him as a sleeper RHP outside the top 15. Some guy from the Pirates who claims to have connections lol thinks they’re going to draft him and it’ll take about $2m to sign him. Hard to find any real info, guess we’ll see.

IF he is good enough to make a major league roster he should probably go. Equal money less the constant battering he would take as a QB. Probably have a longer career and not have arthritic knees and concussion brain injury in his 50s. The question is does he have the goods to make a major league club. The minors are brutal. It's incredibly hard to make it all the way to the show. Glad I don't have to make that evaluation.

Draft it this weekend. But that doesn't mean a we will know what path he will take or not. After the draft MLB teams have a time window to negotiate with their draft picks. So we will still have a couple of weeks to see if he signs or not.

Also, I believe the MLB caps the salaries of these teams and slotted value will play a role. That's why top guys fall all the time in the MLB draft. Will be interesting with NIL to see how difficult it will make MLB teams to sign their draft picks.

From the stuff I've seen it sounds like he will go the baseball route.
MLB Pipeline has him ranked at 208th best draft prospect. A lot a variables here. Will a team reach on him to pay him under slot value? If he stays in that range will the team that drafts him have money to sign a high school prospect? How determined is he to play baseball?
