Agreed - will be very disappointed if it's not Vedral.Vedral...Time to have a QB that can run and pass and not a turnover machine
I would say Vedral but Schiano's history is that he love those prototypical pro style quarterbacks.
So the winner between Vedral and Sit gets to start vs. Ohio State ?
Verdal has to start. The absolute worst thing that could happen for everyone is that Art starts and throws a pick on the first series. Sorry for my lack of confidence.
People continue to rip the poor kid (although you did apologize so you are a nicer one). However, unlike the bashers, I paid attention to his performance in his two games last year and saw that he was not bad. Perhaps, he's even better now. After all, his very poor performances came during his true freshman year (after not starting his HS senior year).
With that being said, I am not married to the idea that he should be the starter. However, I won't be "disappointed" if the staff thinks that Art should start over Noah (and vice-versa).
remember the "Wild Knight"? very strange memory gap by you, imo.I would say Vedral but Schiano's history is that he love those prototypical pro style quarterbacks.
And how did that worked out?remember the "Wild Knight"? very strange memory gap by you, imo.
Savage was more (MICHIGAN's) Tom Brady or Mike Teel than Tim Tebow back then.Tom Savage?
I think GS 2.0 is going to allow his coordinators more control over their respective units. While greg needs to be involved as HC he needs to allow his coordinators room to do their jobs. With Gleeson as OC I think it is important for HCGS to allow him room to run the offense and make some mistakes. Gleeson so far at his past stops has been a great offensive mind but he needs the room to allow his fast and high energy offense to take root. I have not been this excited to see a rutgers offense since the 2005 - 2007 seasons. I really, really hope Gleeson can show some really creative offensive play calling. Lets go RU!I would say Vedral but Schiano's history is that he love those prototypical pro style quarterbacks.
Bolin rode the bench most of 2017 and carter retired last year . Rutgers logic has historically been differentLike last season, when you have no clear cut starter you don't bring in a transfer QB who's riding the bench otherwise it was a wasted transfer.
Vedral looks fast and decisive, and accurate in the highlights. I did notice that they weren't putting up many points, and it was only highlights. Sit is a great drop back passer, is very tough and accurate if he has a clean pocket. My guess is that Vedral starts because of his speed. He didn't come to Rutgers to be the backup, he left Nebraska because he was a back up there. I am fine with either of them starting but my guess is Vedral.
Spot on. Hoping Sitkowski will be a career backup.Vedral...Time to have a QB that can run and pass and not a turnover machine

I'm trying to remember many of our QB transfers and I really can't, which proves your point about our tortured history. We've had a couple of decent JUCO transfers who contributed: Robert Higgins and Brendan Edmonds come to mind, but I can't think of too many. Fortay was decent and had some good games. I'll give a shout out to Mike Stephens too, because he took a helluva beating behind that line and kept coming back. I think he almost upset VT in Blacksburg one year.Agreed that RU has a strange tortured history with QB transfers and many of them were wasted ships. Carter will be the only one I disagree since he got injured but had won the starting job outright.

Definitely not a murderer's row right there...Oh lord, you're going back way further than I was...lol.
I was only covering the Flood & Ash disasters with my comment - Kyle Bolin, Zach Allen, Hayden Rettig, etc.
Agreed. I would assume Gleason would want to play both QB's to see how they both run the new offense. On the depth chart it has "or" between them. What's your guess who starts there?
Either way, I think if they are that close we will see both of them play.
I think carter was gonna go the way of bolin anyway . Bolin won the starting job outright out of camp too. These were both wasted ships in a wasted trASH era.Agreed that RU has a strange tortured history with QB transfers and many of them were wasted ships. No, not different at all. They were both brought in to start, as was Vedral. They both did start, as will Vedral.Bolin rode the bench most of 2017 and carter retired last year . Rutgers logic has historically been different
They stunk! No, not different at all. They were both brought in to start, as was Vedral. They both did start, as will Vedral.
For different reasons it didn't work out for Bolin and Carter. It may or may not work out with Vedral. If it doesn't, then he too will be removed as starter.
