SVN time!!! Tying up & hand fighting. Van Ness presses forward. He shoots & gets a leg, but Fielding fights out of it. Van Ness presses forward & takes Fielding tot he edge. Fielding circles back to center, 2-min left. Van Ness presses forward again. Van Ness reaches for an ankle, but can't get there. Van Ness immediately shoots again & quickly finishes a double, 3-0. Van Ness decides to ride & gets Fielding bellied out. Fielding works back to his base for a moment, but Van Ness gets him bellied out again. Van Ness rides out the period. 3-0 Van Ness, +1:14 RT

Period 2:
Fielding takes down. Van Ness lets him go, 3-1. Van Ness shoots & finishes another TD, 6-1, then cut Fielding, 6-2. Van Ness shoots, but Fielding blocks him off. Van Ness shoots again & gets a leg, then finishes the TD, 9-2. Van Ness cuts Fielding, 9-3. Fielding with a half shot, but nothing going. Van Ness presses forward. Fielding with another half shot & another. Van Ness with a half shot, 30-sec left. Van Ness shoots, but Fielding fights him off. Van Ness shoots again & again & gets a leg on the edge. Stall warning on Fielding. Van Ness finishes the TD, 13-3 as time expires. 13-3 Van Ness, +1:37 RT

Period 3:
Van Ness takes down. He works to a quadpod, then his feet & gets the escape, 14-3. Van Ness shoots, but can't finish. He hits a blast double & is adding NF, 17-3. Stoppage for locked hands on Van Ness, point Fielding, 17-4. That was close to nearfall for Van Ness, but he didn't get enough swipes, I guess. Van Ness goes optional & cuts Fielding, 17-5. Tying up & hand fighting, 1-min left. Van Ness shoots, but no luck. Fielding shoots, Van Ness counters & finishes another TD for the 20-5 TECH!!!

I think Mendez and Mesenbrink are in a slightly higher class than Levi with respect to their weight class. I still think Levi wins the title, but closer matches.
