Yes,,, great game and a good win...on to the quarter finals!!!!
I’m staying overnite in Philly Saturday but I’m thinking noon in Annapolis sunday is doable. Hmmmmm
Depends on what time you can leave. Only a bit more than 2 hours from Philly to Annapolis.
I live about an hour away and have been thinking of going. Should be a good game.
Notre Dame of course.
But it really doesn't matter if its a good game.
In years past while I was still teaching I used to go to the ND - Navy game every other year with one of my colleagues who was a Navy grad. An odd couple of course ... one wearing a ND sweatshirt and the other wearing Navy.
But nice to be able to spend time with mom. I miss mine.
No. 7 Penn State men’s lacrosse to battle No. 10 Notre Dame in national quarterfinal matchup
Fifth-seeded Penn State defeated Colgate last Saturday despite nearly allowing a late comeback to move on to the national quarterfinal game in Annapolis, Maryland.
terrible 2nd qtr. for PSU. After they tied it up 3-3, it was all ND. They dominated face-offs, they were better on D, and they were better in their offense.
From down 12-6, PSU scores 6 unanswered, to tie it up!!!
Make that 7 unanswered, as PSU takes the lead!!!
Make that 8 unanswered, as PSU goes up by 2!!!

PSU up 14-12, with 49.1 seconds left. PSU has the ball, and calls TO!!!
PSU turns it over on the restart. ND gets possession. After a shot that misses, ND calls TO with 31.2 sec., with PSU still up 14-12

Penn State wins, 14-12, and is headed to the Final Four!!!!!
Un fricking believable
PSU kept ND off the scoreboard for the last 21 minutes of the match.

Congratulations PSU.
After ND was up 8-3 at the half I thought it would be another blowout like against OSU last week, but your guys clawed back. Good game guys.
