We love ground and pound and great defense. We hate Iowa. Hope that clears things up.
When Clifford went out, PSU’s offense was done. They were getting into a groove before that.
Why?
Penn State beat Auburn.
Iowa spanked Iowa State.
How the appreciation of great defense is lost on Husker fans is beyond me.
I knew this would be in this thread. Tyler does it too much, I agree. But he does it after a good run. Dismuke also does it after a good Tyler Goodson run. It’s weird.

Iowa State isn't that great either.
Iowa has a good defense, but Penn State had an atrocious QB. they had the game handled when Clifford was in.

Possibly true but a win is a win regardless of how pretty it is! Do I think Iowa is over rated? Yep...doesn't matter though! I remember a Ohio State team that had a crappy offense but a great defense and special teams and won a National Championship! Sometimes stars align just right and you have a Cinderella season! Clifford was eating Iowa's lunch in the first quarter but it just seems to be Iowa's year! QB gets knocked out of the game and the tables turned! Iowa did what it had to do to win! Go Hawks!
