Premium Perks?

Keeping it premium, means less users on it, which means less arguments and less headaches for me. Making it free would make it open to anyone and everyone who signed up for a free account, meaning it would attract randos who don't care about RU at all to come and post about their political stances. End of the day I hate the board and have tried to get rid of it multiple times, but have felt it's best to keep it over there the way it is because otherwise it clutters this board, the hoops board and the rest of the site.

Here's a thought: rename the CE Board the "Morons Only" Board. Kidding, mostly. Keep up the good work young man.

if you're talking about mine it was shut done by my request ( I think) because even though I tried my best to explain I was not bitching about the OTs but trying to point out that premium doesn't have those off season and that makes it worthy ..I hit a funny bone (and also over-estimated the mathematical extrapolation abilities of the board). And then I got over-sensitive myself vs. take my beating lol.

I paid just $39 for a full year last year via the promo and just wanted to express an opinion as to the value. Richie's post above says it all. Same reason I felt compelled to at least jump in on NTR to support in a small way. These guys work hard for us to live on this site.

It is a more filtered environment for exchange but like everything these days does continue to "murk" more as time goes on. Based on some replies I'm now hoping many of the folks please stay over here (not you sir and sorry Richie ).

I'm looking forward to paying full price for the next year. Folks on the free site are lucky they get the content they do. Seeing both now I'm shocked its shared as much as it is.

I thought your post was hilarious. I was traveling at the time it was posted, and was reading the responses, wondering WTF is going on? All good. I may sign up.

if there's a handful of folks who just participate on one board to cause problems on all the others boards, wouldn't it make sense to ban them and their many handles?

I've heard of indulging children but there's a literally one board dominated by like 5-6 people over 50 whose behavior keeps dozens of people including myself from paying for premium.

What folks decide to do with their money is obviously up to them but the logic behind not paying for premium because the CE board is now included in the premium fee escapes me. If the CE board was that offensive to you, why would you even come to this site? Every time you click on this site it provides a benefit to the site.

Just being able to see some of the thread titles kept me from wanting to see more... The first time I saw this photo, it immediately brought to mind the forum CE board. The pic could use some RU gear though.

If you go to a restaurant and order a nice steak, and when it comes to the table there is a pile of dog poop in a separate bowl added for free, you'd ignore the poop and only eat the steak. But you wouldn't patronize that restaurant again.

In this case, the steak is the premium board and the poop is CE.

And I come to this site now because I get enjoyment out of it for free.

Glad your analogy makes sense to you because it's a poor one. You still come to this site and no one makes you view the CE board.
