That’s the funny thing to me…every time Pope does something like that beach photo and tries to flex…it’s just a reminder how big of a dork he really is. He’s incapable of swag.

If we won a F4, I wouldn't mind this sort of thing at all. It just seems between this, and Pope's beach photo.. its a little too early for *this* much swag. Like if we have a repeat of last year, these will look rather silly.

It's not the content of either, just feels like pre-emptive flexing. Lets win a game in the 2nd weekend before we start this sort of thing.

Are you saying the Pope family shouldn't go on vacation, or have any fun until we make a Final Four? Or are you saying they should do it in private so you can pretend they're all miserable?

I think theres a difference between having fun and taking subtle shots at players leaving the program saying things like "he didnt love it here anyways". And again, im OK with the latter, but you better walk that walk when the time comes.

In a way, it's the coaches kids talking smack. I dont think its the best look for him or the program and that stuff can bite you in the *** if those players ever find themselves playing us I the future. We used to say as much when opponents would down play our talents. You put it up in the locker room.

Not a huge deal, but still another thing I just find "odd" about this Pope era.

It’s not really a big deal IMO
granted, it’s not something I would’ve done..but i grew up in a different era.
I do think that the bigger deal is made out of it the bigger deal it will become
