Fair enough and no arguments that UK should be in the S16 most of the time. UK has 46 total S16s, so that is a successful season to me. As you get past that, you start getting into more. EE = Very good season, FF = Great season, NC Loss= Elite season, NC Win- Historic Season.I'd say 6-8 losses. Normally I'd say win the SEC and/or SECT, but we all see what Florida has lined up this year. While I don't like conceding those to anyone, they're ours by birthright, realistically Florida is taking them this year. IMO we should make the Sweet 16 every year. No reason for UK not to be one of the last 16 standing any year. Yes, that doesn't always happen, but it should more often than not. To me it's a baseline job requirement here. Getting past that Sweet 16 is where we start talking about success. Just getting there isnt a great season in and of itself. How the regular season goes matters too. Kinda like UK football. Not all 7-5 seasons are created equal.

Like last season was a disaster..not because of 14 losses but the way Popes teams lose. They usually get dog walked. He's gotta fix that. Getting blown out by Tennessee in the first ever NCAA tournament meeting isn't successful.
