If that is the case, he is not the most intelligent fellow. My guess is he never thought of the potential consequences of his actions, or didn't realize the backlash they could cause.

This is very similar to the Ray Rice situation.
Teams are taking into account how good K is and how much grief signing him will cause. If he were better at QB, or had less baggage, he'd be signed.
After the draft, he will be.
So if he wasn't as you say an ******* and couldn't play he would be signed. I may not agree with what he did but it is his right as a citizen of the U.S. If he never plays in the NFL again and he stood up for what he believe to be right, I for one wouldn't call him an *******.Locker room and publicity cancer and won't win you games. What a moron. All he had to do was not be an @sshole.
Stevie Wonder saw this coming.
Hello Canada.
If Collin Kaepernick is an *******, what's Johnny Manziel?

I never said he wasn't an *******. He is an *******. NFL teams ultimately make decisions. Is the baggage worth it because the player can help bring wins. Kapernick brings too much baggage. The juice isn't worth the proverbial squeeze, or he would be signed.
In his defense, there are a bunch of miscreants in that league who have done worse than him. But they can ball better. He is just a misguided moron who brings too much negative press in his wake.
Seems to be learning though. His beliefs were so stout and important that he announced he wasn't doing the stupid kneel anymore...all after NFL prospects took a big hit.
Looks like his agent got to to him a little too late.
If Collin Kaepernick is an *******, what's Johnny Manziel?
His agent is his biggest supporter. I know that for a fact
Well that would explain it. Actually, looks like he smartened up and got rid of his agent. He doesn't have one according to the latest I could find.

His agent would never advise someone to do something against their beliefs. He told him what may happen and let Kap make an informed choice. And the he did everything he could do to support him.Sounds like repping artists is a better place for him. The advice he apparently gave Kap will play much better in that world.
If he thinks there are bunch of pricks in sports, wait until he gets a load of the music biz.
That's some seriously disgusting sausage.
If you think it is meaningless, then you are an ignorant racist...Not making an idiot of yourself shouldn't be against your beliefs. He might be a good man but if he helped facilitate his client out of the NFL by encouraging him to do something so meaningless yet so highly detrimental, he isn't a good agent. Not surprised he is looking for other work.
There were plenty of much more effective ways for Kaepernick to get his point across without harming his career.
But he just couldn't do it. I am guessing he isn't so smart, which is where a competent manager comes in. The pig cop socks said it all. A petulant child who got his comeuppance.
If you think it is meaningless, then you are an ignorant racist...
Sorry, wearing pig socks disrespecting police officers makes him ignorant. Praising Cuba makes him ignorant. Supporting BLM makes him ignorant and racist. Along with anyone who agrees with him.
If he wanted to really help, he would have played his *** off and made his hundred million and put those funds to real use.
As it is, he is fraud. A joker of high order who blew it. For if he was anything else, he would have actually made a difference. As it is, he is a footnote.
I constantly read people saying there were plenty of other ways to get his point across without harming his career, but nobody ever gives examples. What could he possibly have done that would have drawn more attention to the issue? Please, enlighten me because I can't think of any.
You have lots of jokes for women and minorities and all kinds of people who lack power but cops are the protected class that you hold immune to joking. You decry politcal correctness yet cartoon animals depictions of the beloved authority figures that protect your status quo clearly violate your code of political correctness.
BLM isn't racist. It is people who rightly assert that the lives of black Americans have been treated as negligible and have a political platform for defending the value of the lives of black Americans. They have a website. You can read up on it and cure yourself of your ignorance.
Choosing a form of protest that pleases you is both pointless and impossible. Pointless because you are a troll. Impossible because you ignore the racial inequality that exists and nothing short of delusional ignorance of that reality will please you.

His 1.5m followers are a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of millions that have heard about this protest. You say his focus should be on football. I'd argue that his focus on human rights is slightly more important.I am in the minority on this board and I support Kaepernick and think that he can still play. However, I think he could've done what he's doing without causing the distraction. He could've done all his donations and charity that he's doing right now without the kneeling. He could've been an activist on social media. He has 1.5 million followers on Instagram. He could've participated in any rally he wanted to in his free time. I think the problem for some is he did it prior to the game. His focus should've been on football. Once he leaves the stadium, he could be an activist.

Just to be clear, I haven't either. I'm a white male.the problem is...most on here arguing against this have never had to fear for their human rights or for the rights of their loved ones. Yes, maybe they fear if they are in a dark alley or lost in the woods not when they just have to run out on an everyday errand.
