The problem with the OT board was that it always devolved in to a pissing match that never changed anybody’s mind. I posted a fair amount on it about COVID but that’s about it. It had run its course and IMO the constant personal attacks was not a great look for Husker fandom. JMO.

It was an open board. Whether it changed anybody's mind or not really wasnt the point. It was only when a certain demographic was getting their *** handed to them(after President potato was installed. When it was orange man bad, it was fine), did it go away. Maybe it should've been(stayed?) under the paid lock and key instead.
It always amuses me when people freak out about things they have an option to look at/not participate in.
Because my speech cannot control others and what they say? OMG get rid of it NOW.

It was a seperate board nobody was forced to go to. Just like nobody has to click on threads they don’t want to see. This isn’t really as complicated as it’s made out to be.
