Clearly, you did not read my reasoning. And nice job In trying to be “cancel culture”Why even have a poll or pose the question like this. The OP is clearly a trouble maker.

Well thought out and insightful posts. I don’t agree with everything said, but well said.Reasoneable answer . I've always been a Cal supporter but the guy has some issues on game day . Our offense is getting to the point its mid feb before we look like we have a clue . Teams take forever to gain and identity . And Yes , Cal seems to have enough enemies where it makes advancing that much harder in the NCAAT . Thats why its awful we lost last year , who knows what we might have done . Could have flamed out , could have went on a run . This year is extremely important in keeping the fan base happy .. and I didnt even mention his venture into politics![]()
LOL. Why not just call this Real Kentucky fans versus fakes and trolls. That's what the vote will reflect.

Glad you are not a fake or a troll -- and your posting has proven that.Haha. “Everyone that doesn’t agree with me is fake or a troll”
When does thinking like this ever end?
At worst, trading Cal for Billy D is a lateral move.
Acting like it’s insane, or that only trolls would vote for Billy is plain dumb.
And before you have an aneurysm, I voted Cal.
I think we should give Cal a fair chance to right the ship that Keion launched a torpedo into. That’s not something that can be fixed in one speech. It’s going to take Cal's best efforts to get through this one unscathed.Never wanted Billy D, think Cal is doing a great job. His politics have me seeing him in a different way. If he supports his team disrespecting our anthem or flag there will be problems ahead. Call us rednecks, hillbillies or backwood folks but we love our country.
It is at least theoretically possible that Cal's newfound wokeness might be the last straw for a portion of the fanbase that is already a little bit critical of him. He might actually see some negative reception at some games. That's right, I said it.Why even have a poll or pose the question like this. The OP is clearly a trouble maker.
haha that keion is a moron quote sounded like bob knightI think we should give Cal a fair chance to right the ship that Keion launched a torpedo into. That’s not something that can be fixed in one speech. It’s going to take Cal's best efforts to get through this one unscathed.
When I say "unscathed", I mean make it through without losing current players, losing the fan base and losing future recruits.
He can't just come out and say "Keion is a moron and never should have opened his trap about it, because he has no knowledge of who or what Rupp was"
He can't say that, but that’s like the only thing that would make some of our fans happy and that’s not fair to Cal.
I hated those comments too and I was quite angry on here that day, but I didn’t have a problem with what Cal did or said up to that point. I think he's trying to have his cake and eat it too, which I think is the right move. He's also been pretty hush hush about it lately, I think he's letting the flames die down. Again, another good move.
Without Larry Shyatt running his defense, Billy's record ain't all that awesome.Love and will always appreciate what Cal has done for UK but we’re about to endure the down swing of his tenure.
Billy Donovan is a better basketball coach every day of the week and when the talent pool is going to be significantly less to choose from than what Cal has been accustomed to his whole career I will take the better X and O guy with twice as many titles please.
YOU AND YOUR FAN KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE A PERFECT FIT FOR TODAY'S G-LEAGUE.Cal and his politics would be a perfect fit for todays NBA.
one can make any argument - sure - my point was just his whole team came back and that would not happen in this day and age. Perfect storm once - sure - twice with no one leaving - would not happen these days. That's all.I keep seeing this 'lightning in a bottle' phrase referring to Donovan's back to back titles.
Isn't it super difficult to win back to back titles?
And couldn't you also make the argument that Cal caught lightning in a bottle with Davis, MKG, and TJ/Lamb coming back?
Without Larry Shyatt running his defense, Billy's record ain't all that awesome.
I agree with those concerns and they are justified...except the recruiting misses...something is going on there; that is out of Cal's control, IMO.how could you not possibly agree with my opinion 100% ?? LOL , I jest . Things just sorta seem to be more shaky than Cals first ( INCREDIBLE ) 5 years here . There are more and more recruiting misses . There is the changing of the atmosphere where stud players now know they have to come to Ky to get drafted highly . And last year I watched us be totally , 100% , not mentally prepared to play the game on more than one occasion . The infamous Evansville home loss , and losing to a Utah team that was outmatched clearly at every position. I watched that from 5 rows back . I could type a while describing how flat and unprepared we were . Then 2 days later we lose to Tosu who wasnt exactly a great team . Plus the meltdown of our PG at the end of the season. That sort of stuff hasnt happened too often during his tenure . And while I'm at it , Herro's year -- we look like a well oiled offensive nightmare for anyone in our path playing those pro teams overseas , the ball and player movement was extremely impressive. Then we go thru the season and the offense grinds to a halt. There are things to be concerned about .
So why do you come to a “backwards redneck board”? Pretty arrogant and narcissistic attitude on your part. Do you even know what a redneck is or what the term stands for?My god, equality isn't political. Jesus this backwards redneck board is laughable.
I'll take Billy, but I think he stays in the NBA. The NBA cache would do him wonders in recruiting and I'm sure his coaching has improved. Plus, we'd have an offense and his defense wouldn't be far off.
oh yeah, I'm not a child, I don't care if he didn't want to coach here before. Life is all about change.
Cal went to 3 final fours during those years. In the four years that followed Larry’s tenure at Florida, Billy went to two Elite Eights and a Final Four.
ya know, I've read or heard never, that insulting and belittling others is a way to bring about change. My god, equality isn't political. Jesus this backwards redneck board is laughable.

People love to forget that Billy Donovan did what he did at a school and with a fan base that did not give a Flying F about basketball.Billy did nothing outside his 1st or 2nd team & the Horford team.
Cal absolutely owned Billy & was one reason he wanted out of college basketball. And some weird thinking morons want Billy D.? That's just strange!
Oh yeah.haha that keion is a moron quote sounded like bob knight
Cal went to 3 final fours during those years.
Billy has 2 final fours in his career(with several first weekend exits) without Shyatt on the bench.
but, is it a pipe dream for Cal to just leave and be replaced...or am I reading way too much into your post?People love to forget that Billy Donovan did what he did at a school and with a fan base that did not give a Flying F about basketball.
I think most of us that love the idea of Donovan at UK are operating under the assumption that Billy could do a whole lot more with at UK with the resources he didn’t have at UF.
Also want to point out how big of a pipe dream it is and that there’s no chance Donovan is coming to UK and Cal is either resigning or getting fired.
Funny thing is, I’d rather have Donovan as coach but would have a HUGE problem if Cal got fired or was forced to resign for him.
I'm good. You ALWAYS cover just what needs saying. Im grateful. There's plenty of room for everybody. Jump on in.
You suck at clever comebacks. Probably a indication of your IQ.YOU AND YOUR FAN KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE A PERFECT FIT FOR TODAY'S G-LEAGUE.

it was the exact same level, as the poster he repliedYou suck at clever comebacks. Probably a indication of your IQ.
Now that was a clever response based on my posting error.it was the exact same level, as the poster he replied
any guesses why that might be the case? Our offense is getting to the point its mid feb before we look like we have a clue .
Do you mean Cal? And as for Billy not being a candidate at UK, is that mostly attributable to his wife?I think Carl’s remaining tenure is on either side of three years. That’s not inside information - just a feeling.
As for Billy - he will not be a candidate whenever the time comes. That is more than “just a feeling”.
