The IHSA Outlook and what Soucie does are two different things. GBW was 8A until Loyola/Edwardsville qualified. IHSA doesn't predict if Loyola/Edwardsville would get in, Soucie does.

Pretty close. They only outplayed Iggy, DePaul and St Francis this year. They were a miracle end in game 1 away from 3-5. They are getting way too much attention after a very mediocre season.

To be fair I 99% agree with you. The 1% is the conspiracy to get the Southwest Prairie out. Thats why they put PE against ESL. ESL was gonna be a #1 seed until they saw they had to get the Bengals out. Then they forced the rematch between OE and Brook.
