3: Joliet Catholic, HF, Marist.... but yeah, I was thinking of looking closer at what happened last week.Only two 4-5 teams in the field this week. Very interesting.
Because finding an easy to download complete game schedule for all teams is difficult and I did not have them playing a week 9 game(notice the projection had them at 7-1...probably because it appears Cerro Gordo isn't actually playing games). I will update that as a forfeit to get to 8-1 and update the brackets. How is Cumberland a 12? They would be 8-1 if they win this week?
Out of curiosity, how have they played 8 games already? How is Cumberland a 12? They would be 8-1 if they win this week?
They haven't but Week 9 is a forfeit. They would be 8-1 if they win this week. Thanks.Out of curiosity, how have they played 8 games already?
and wheaton academy in 5A North....guy must have been 4/3 drunk when he drew that north south line.St. Francis in 5A South…![]()
I mean Wheaton Academy is north of St. Francis. 5A always has a higher North/South line than other classes due to most of the CPS teams landing in 5A.and wheaton academy in 5A North....guy must have been 4/3 drunk when he drew that north south line.
If there isn't a trophy this year after that cake walk to at least a runner up there HAS to be a change.
Thank you. Pretty sure I took the Lat/Longs from IHSA website.I mean Wheaton Academy is north of St. Francis. 5A always has a higher North/South line than other classes due to most of the CPS teams landing in 5A.
Not likely. As a Morris guy I'd be more worried about IC sneaking into 4A.Any way Montini sneaks up into 5A? Asking for a (Morris) friend....
8A may end up with 4/5 4-5 teams3: Joliet Catholic, HF, Marist.... but yeah, I was thinking of looking closer at what happened last week.
Think there a 6 teams projected to be in 4A field with enrollments larger than Montini, so one in a million.Any way Montini sneaks up into 5A? Asking for a (Morris) friend....
How do you figure? In this projection there are 3 total 4-5 teams. Meaning there were 253 teams with records of 5-4 or better and record comes before everything else.8A may end up with 4/5 4-5 teams
These are teams projected into the field this week at 5-4 who were not projected in last week. Not sure if it means they had a Massey upset in week 7, or if a Massey prediction has flipped in week 8/9 or if I made some sort of mistake last/this week3: Joliet Catholic, HF, Marist.... but yeah, I was thinking of looking closer at what happened last week.

I’m sure you’re correct. Keeping on top of data for out of state teams is most error prone part of my process. Will fix in a bit.East St. Louis should be showing a projected record of 6-3 in the 6A south bracket. They are currently 5-2 (with one of the wins being a forfeit victory). They are a heavy favorite in their next game, but a decided underdog (according to Massey) in their last game of the regular season against IMG Academy.
From 3 peat to round 2 home clock victim?!?! How many days til next season?Updated ESL to projected 6-3 & South Shore to 7-2. I don't know what the question about Simeon means

There are other teams whose locations are north of Simeon but in the South bracket (ie Naz).Updated ESL to projected 6-3 & South Shore to 7-2. I don't know what the question about Simeon means

Looks like maybe I’m using the latitude based on the city of the school… obviously works pretty well for everything except Chicago. I’ll look to fix. There are other teams whose locations are north of Simeon but in the South bracket (ie Naz).
They LOST to Vegas and Jersey ... the FLA forfeit is accounted for in the record as it is.I’m sure you’re correct. Keeping on top of data for out of state teams is most error prone part of my process. Will fix in a bit.
Using I think more precise Latitudes (had to dig up from last years spreadsheetLooks like maybe I’m using the latitude based on the city of the school… obviously works pretty well for everything except Chicago. I’ll look to fix.

Idk about eville. Weaver (the qb) got hit vs esl and he hasn't played since. They should handle alton without him. De smet might be toughI still think Naperville North beats Central and gets in at 5-4 and perhaps Edwardsville too
Wait and see young one...How do you figure? In this projection there are 3 total 4-5 teams. Meaning there were 253 teams with records of 5-4 or better and record comes before everything else.
Do you easily have available the enrollment breakdown for each classification (largest and smallest team in each class)?Marist is last team in.

This half Irish half Italian superstitious idiot was starting to panic....glad to see youSo Naz needs JCA to beat Providence is what I’m reading here. Not sure about that one.
Bigger head scratcher is Morgan Park in the North and SF in the South. Morgan Park is about 12 miles south of SF.and wheaton academy in 5A North....guy must have been 4/3 drunk when he drew that north south line.
