Playoff Projections Post week 7

3: Joliet Catholic, HF, Marist.... but yeah, I was thinking of looking closer at what happened last week.
Because finding an easy to download complete game schedule for all teams is difficult and I did not have them playing a week 9 game(notice the projection had them at 7-1...probably because it appears Cerro Gordo isn't actually playing games). I will update that as a forfeit to get to 8-1 and update the brackets.
No problem I figured it was something like that. Yes it will be a forfeit as Cerro Gordo is Co-Op with Arcola. Thanks for the work.

If there isn't a trophy this year after that cake walk to at least a runner up there HAS to be a change.
I'm excited for a possible rekindling of a rivalry with a quarterfinal matchup at "the zoo" between RB and Naz and I guess if they have to play each other outside of the title game. A semi final matchup with ESL in LGP will be electric.
I mean Wheaton Academy is north of St. Francis. 5A always has a higher North/South line than other classes due to most of the CPS teams landing in 5A.
Think there a 6 teams projected to be in 4A field with enrollments larger than Montini, so one in a million.
How do you figure? In this projection there are 3 total 4-5 teams. Meaning there were 253 teams with records of 5-4 or better and record comes before everything else.
These are teams projected into the field this week at 5-4 who were not projected in last week. Not sure if it means they had a Massey upset in week 7, or if a Massey prediction has flipped in week 8/9 or if I made some sort of mistake last/this week

East St. Louis should be showing a projected record of 6-3 in the 6A south bracket. They are currently 5-2 (with one of the wins being a forfeit victory). They are a heavy favorite in their next game, but a decided underdog (according to Massey) in their last game of the regular season against IMG Academy.
I’m sure you’re correct. Keeping on top of data for out of state teams is most error prone part of my process. Will fix in a bit.

Looks like maybe I’m using the latitude based on the city of the school… obviously works pretty well for everything except Chicago. I’ll look to fix.
They LOST to Vegas and Jersey ... the FLA forfeit is accounted for in the record as it is.
Using I think more precise Latitudes (had to dig up from last years spreadsheet
), Simeon and Naz do indeed swap North/South. Good news for @tuccs

Idk about eville. Weaver (the qb) got hit vs esl and he hasn't played since. They should handle alton without him. De smet might be tough

Bigger head scratcher is Morgan Park in the North and SF in the South. Morgan Park is about 12 miles south of SF.
