For those that say I only like sharing bad news, Washington has assured people he's coming back. He wants input as to what he needs to do to improve future draft position. Not earth shattering, but I thought I'd share what I heard.

What are your sources saying that Herro comes in next year and hits numerous 3s?

So you’re telling me that if you had the chance to see where you’re at for your potential dream job, you wouldn’t do it?

Also, I find it funny how of all the positive threads about Knox or SGA coming back this is the one you decide to comment on. Oh, other than calling someone a “douche canoe” in the Knox thread.
When my chances to find out where I stand is limited then yeah I’d pick my spots carefully.

You’re funny. So I didn’t comment about the two potentially positive threads. Except for that one that I actually commented in and complimented Cal. You’re a joke.

it is true. you can do it twice btw. why wouldn’t he? good lord.
He does it now. Comes back and has another season that makes him borderline. Does he then use his last time or just comes back? Say he uses that second chance next year and again had to return. Then when he finally does leave he won’t be able to get that feedback.

HE just wants an eval. Wants to see if he gets a combine invite. The only problem is putting off surgery may limit him in summer practices.

This.

I think he'll be less than 100% effective.

He'll need the surgery, and though minor--teams have to consider it.

For anyone faulting the process think of this...when training for any vocation you want to be trained proficiently. You want to gather as much information to see what you are great at and what is your weaknesses. This allows them to go in and see the process. I look at it as test prep class...like some of those learning centers that you pay thousands for prepping for the MCAT. Using all the tools to further your success isn't selfish but smart and the most intelligent to do.

I simply stated my opinion of what I think PJ is looking to do. I never once said he should come back or leave or if he’s a bad kid for leaving. Y’all have such a throbbing wood for me that you can’t even manage to read and comprehend my sentences correctly.

But it’s cool. Keeping whining everytime I post just because I don’t have the same opinion as you. It’s fun watching you squirm.

No. Just no. I know your act. Amazing how pathetic you are to pay to troll a rival fan base

You are not a real Kentucky fan. Most know this. How you constantly bash, Cal, fans, players, our school.

WTF is wrong with you?

Find one post, anywhere, where I’ve bashed the school or our fans. I bash Cal when he deserves it.

And since you wanna go down this road again, if I’m not a UK fan then why did I post a pic of my tickets from a game this year?

Yeah, I pay $100 per year to a UK site, spend hundreds on UK b-ball tickets, travel 10 hours round trip to Rupp for a game but I’m actually a UL troll who does ALLLLLL of that as some big elaborate plan go stick it to UK. Dumbass.

And you've admitted to adoring Ratface. Face it, your a Duke fan. You're outed. Certified Cal hater. I saw that all caps post after the KS loss before it got deleted. Everyone knows it. Just own it and quit crying.

For anyone in the know. If he is putting off the surgery until after combine, will this affect him going on the team trip this summer should he decide to come back? Cause frankly I would rather he get the finger fixed and had time to heal and be able to participate on that trip. That is such an advantage to team chemistry.

The trip won’t be until August and the surgery he needs shouldn’t warrant too long of recovery. So barring any setbacks he should be good to go.

I don’t blame him. Nothing to lose I guess. But it’s not even obvious to me that PJ is a two year player. I could see him as a four year player with his size and skill set. I love what he can do for UK but I’m having trouble seeing him as even close to helping an NBA team right now. Maybe I’m wrong.

I dont disagree, but I am trying to state what I believe PJ is/was thinking as to his career path....

Yes he can. You can do the combine twice and you can declare and come back as many times as you want. The declare for the draft only once rule was changed a few years ago
I m the same page as you m m the mm m
I make no apologies , I'm sick of this crap we have produced . Average Joe's wanting the limelight , I know its the correct way to play the system but I'm fed up with the system . I'm not really pissed at PJ , its this BS system

Probably isn't 45 players better than him.....But it comes down to will he accept another year of college and be a 10th-15th draft pick instead of a 45th/46th this year....It is what it is...

Sure. But he didn't want to stay. And he wasn't a "missing piece" from our 2017 team. He was about the same player this year as he was for us as a junior. He would have stretches of solid games (probably more than he had at UK) followed by plenty of no-shows. He fouled out of his last 4 games, and Cal lost 8-strait to end their season.
Sucked for lee, with cuonzo leaving and several players too, he was left high and dry. Lee gave us that one performance in the tournament and that was it.

Exactly why waste that one off on a year YOU KNOW you will not even be invited to the Combine? Silly but Culture here dictates they gotta try.

It can be a two way sword but by going he establishes a baseline of performance. By returning, he can show he improved by 'x' percentage or adversely the opposite. Maybe he sandbags so he can appear to improved greatly. Who knows, maybe Cal wants to acquire all what the NBA scouts look at in combine to perfect his approach on getting these kids ready for that next big step. Whatever it is, I see no harm in utilizing every bit of information to better their playand improve upon draft status
