Too dangerous to play 2nd half of armed forces game in Okinawa. The floor cannot be maintained due to condensation, several players were slipping and falling in the 1st half.

I just saw that. Did they have a winner? I didn't hear them say anything about it or if it is just like they never played the game. They need to stop doing these games at unusual places. Didn't they cancel the game on the aircraft carrier last year as well? If they want to do something for the military, have it at a college that has a normal arena.
Pitt led at halftime by 2, I didn't catch if it was just a ' No contest ' or what. They really need to rethink these special games as to location and player safety.
college hoops deserves better than this artificial, made up crap. these games outside, on aircraft carriers, in substandard gyms...just pathetic. i realize the cause and all..but come on.
Or they could have held it at the gym on the Air Force Base on Okinawa that has good air conditioning.
Exact same story as the UF-G'town game a couple years ago on the carrier here in Jax. They called that due to condensation. Strange that they would plan something like that again

I think it's cool what they try to do for the military, but they need to play basketball in legit places. I don't understand why they didn't do it at Kadena either. We had a real gym there at the Risner.

I didn't tune in until the game had been called. Weird situation, but seemed like the right call. I guess officially it never happened. Maybe it will be rescheduled or maybe not, but apparently if they do they'll start all over.
