They are THERE at the game. That much I can say. Does that surprise you that they support their team IN PERSON, rather than just on a message board?
It's us against the world. We will shock the world tonight.Go Bears.
We were shocked to see a running clock with 4 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter 42-0 SP at that point. The back ups got 16 minutes of playoff experience. It's us against the world. We will shock the world tonight.Go Bears.
Then they must only have about 400 fans. Their attendance is no better than Tuscola's. You mountain boys can't count. Then they must only have about 400 fans. Their attendance is no better than Tuscola's. You mountain boys can't count.
I never pull against my team.I knew it would be an uphill climb and that we would have to play a perfect game and hope they didn't. After seeing South Point not sure that would have helped.Congratulation to the Raiders good luck next week.Did you truly believe you were going to "shock the world", or were you just being a cheerleader rooting for your team? I am not trying to start anything, I am just curious if you truly thought you had a chance to win this game. IMO, Pisgah and Tuscola both are a long way from being elite programs on a statewide basis. A weak conference inflates both teams records.

It is time to consider just how many SP fans would have made the same trip up here if the game was held in Canton or Waynesville. THEN make your comparison.
We have played both at Tuscola and Pisgah and overfilled both your puny visitor's stands. I was THERE. And no, you didn't. Simple as that. Neither did Burns. Shelby, on the other hand, outdrew both of those teams...COMBINED.You need to check your facts. We have played both at Tuscola and Pisgah and overfilled both your puny visitor's stands. As a matter of fact, we had as many people at your home games as you did. When we played at Hibriten last time, we filled up the visitor's side then took over two sections on the Hibriten home side. I can guarantee you that we would have more than 400 people anywhere we play. And by the way, your success on your own home field against the Raiders is no better than when you play in Belmont. Lifetime, Tuscoler and Pisger are 0-5 against the Raiders. Total domination, now hibernation.
Come to the Hibriten game next week and count the Raider fans yourself. It will be a whole lot more than 400.
The King will always have his say:
Pissgah will be another dead and bloated victim when 9:30 PM rolls around on Friday night. To those Pissgah fans that think SP internet fans are obnoxious, and that I can't spell I say this: you are wrong, ye people of little talent.
Pissgah will get beaten in a straight forward, seemingly humane fashion. It will be quiet after the first quarter, and a deep sleep will befall your team and fanbase. You will rejoice when you leave that beloved town that smells like cow patties being cooked over a urine stew, because you know you are in the presence of the great one (me) and a far superior team and brand of football. No amount of piss and vinegar will your Catamount be able to instill in his Bears to make them competitive past one quarter. That's not arrogance. I speak only the truth.
For your enjoyment and fact checking at 10:49 on Friday night, the final score will be as follows: 42 - 14. 7 of your points will come very late. SP will maintain a consistent 14 pt. score each quarter except for a somewhat slow start in the first quarter. The Bears will be tough and dirty. I was surprised how Tuscola played. It's like Diet Mountain football. Not much dirtiness, scrappiness or fight. Was interesting to see...and disappointing. I guess they're being bred to behave like the newcomers in town up there nowadays.
Please give SP a fight. We haven't seen a HS football game around here in literally over two months. We would like to see a team that could beat our Middle School team; It is after all the 3rd round of the playoffs. I do love our "mountain" run to the state game though. If I didn't know better I'd say we paid a little cash under the table to make that happen. Be sure to stop in West Gastonia on your way back to Pissgah; they have lots of great attractions, restaurants and spots for picnics under the stars.
