Macho Man.... Hibriten is waiting for you.
If I had a choice I would pick Hibriten as my next opponent any day. We have seen unbeaten Hibriten teams before. I believe Tuscola played one of them back in 09. Plenty of talent but lacking in discipline and heart. NO WAY THS should have won that game.

If you want to watch the game on YouTube it's there. Count the unsportsmanlike penalties on Hibriten vs Tuscola's.
And heart had nothing to do with a missed PAT, a dropped handoff, and a horsecollar penalty.
The stars definitely lined up for big T.
BTW 3 post ago you told me the better team definitely won that night.

Unless SP totally self-destructs, they win this game by at least 24 points. Their line play is far superior to Pisgah's and I expect that the left side of their OL will blow the Bears off the ball. Pisgah will play hard and hit hard but talent will prevail. SP also is an excellent tackling team.

I did see that game. And REwatched it. IF the "stars lined up for THS" that night, Hibriten gave them the telescope. With better athletes at almost every position Hibriten had and to still lose AT HOME, deep in the playoffs, because of self inflected (and intentional) mistakes at the worst possible time, what would YOU attribute that loss to? A better team?

A D-1 QB, a 10 yard cushion on receivers.
I doubt the kicker intentionally missed the PAT.
I doubt the QB said hey I'm going to drop the handoff to the fullback and give Tuscola a chance.
I doubt the LB said I'm going to get a horse collar penalty to erase a INT.

Beamer24,

You're dealing with a professional armchair quarterback with the mule. He has obviously came out of his "safe space" after Hillary's crushing defeat, and Tuscola's lose. His one sided views are blocked even worse with the waterfall of tears flowing from his dim, uncomprehending eyes

How many of that hibriten team ended up in some college playing football was it? Usc penalties, all of those self inflicted wounds speak to what? Bad luck?

Big T had 2 or 3 USC penalties that extended Hibriten drives that was what I was referring to.
Big T had several kids that played college ball as well. The following week yall played West Rowan tough so it wasn't like Tuscola was a bunch of scrubs.
That game came down to our inability to stop Brosius not discipline heart and intentional mistakes.
And even with us unable to defend the pass if 1 of 3 plays would have went the other way we still would have won.

No way you can logically criticize Hibriten's heart in that game. They made 2-3 crucial mistakes (like high school kids often do) that cost them the game. They were more talented than us but the margin was not wide IMO. Great game to watch; probably the best one I've ever seen.

That game came down to our inability to stop Brosius not discipline heart and intentional mistakes. Beg to differ. We in the mountains keep hearing that Better athletes, "once we get off the mountain." ___________ And it IS true. Since it is a foregone conclusion that Hibriten had the better athletes, (again as we were repeatedly reminded on message boards like this) You are now trying to say that WASNT the case? Just so we are clear? Be careful how you answer this one.

No way you can logically criticize Hibriten's heart in that game. Since ALL teams (as we keep hearing) are more talented "once we get off the mountain" as some phrase it, if they dont get the job done, one has to go to the other elements that make up great teams. Heart is second from top of the list.

You keep acting as though Tuscola had receivers than ran 5.2's and there QB was recruited by Gardner Webb not NC State.
Did Hibriten have more talent yes much more no.

The private sector outperforms the government in virtually all aspects. Maybe all HS football stadiums would have Bank of America type Jumbotrons if private. Who knows? Trump won, so let's all move along. Football anyone?

At the stadium, the SP side is about 3/4 full. They have cranked up the Jumbotron and are showing highlights from past Raider championships. Nick Saban just got to his seats directly behind me and I wished him well tomorrow. He said tomorrow is tomorrow. Tonight is Raidertime!

I guess y'all were to scared to come to the Raider head. Lol

Dude... nobody wants to meet a guy who throws his team, players and coaches under the bus in weeks 2-7 and screams how great they are now. You're a CLOWN. Scared... No, no one wants to be associated with you.

Good job Red Raiders. Good luck next week.
