Peninsula is a little port town called Port Chalmers. Actually my mailing address. Interesting place. Combination of wharf worker types and artists. If you see the movie, A Light Between the Oceans, lots of it was shot in Port. But I hear the movie is depressing as hell, so I wouldn't see it. You could get a nice place there for about $400,000 US.
My place would go for a bit more than that as I have 38 acres. But a walk in the park for you! Here's a shot of the house and front yard.

I played for the feeder to the US National team. Just couldn't see devoting my life to rugby. My team was all former all blacks, South Africans, and English dudes. A random Canadian as well. Lol

The alpacas are great! Don't know what they would guard, though, they're skittish as hell. The cat scares them. Although they are super intrigued by the cat.
Good thing is that they mostly just hang out, eat grass, and take care of themselves. Sweet animals.
We do have a lot of Highlands. Moms Skillethead wants to get some. She calls them Surfer Dude Cows. Yes, we are in New Zealand.
That was today? well would seem really unlikely that a coach totally occupied by the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama would have been able to have been a participant in any meeting of that nature.

Actually, Moms Skillethead and I are both profs. Long story short, we wanted to have a big adventure before we got too old for one. Two jobs came open at the University of Otago and we put our hats in the ring on kind of a lark, and got them. Took leaves of absence from RU (me) and Kean (her), and tried it out down here. Never looked back. Only regrets are my kids and now grandkids are in the States (her daughter moved down here) along with brothers and the like, and it's a hell of a lot harder to follow RU sports! But we get back about 2-3 times a year (although not Jersey much -- kids are in Boston and Fredericksburg).
Skillet, loved NZ when I visited there and have always wanted to go back. Otago is the best, too. Good wine and fun things to do. Do you feel the envy?
I get it that not everyone on these boards are X and O s people. But you should at least understand the reason why defensive coaches like Ash like some variation of the spread/RPO, etc. as their offense. The reason is very simple: in a pro set the defense only has to worry about 10 guys. In the spread/RPO they have to worry about 11. This makes a hell of a difference.
The argument that defenses are getting better at defending the spread/RPO is true. But it depends on how the offense is run. Too many spead/RPO offenses have become predictable so you only have to defend certain tendencies. Teams that run the full spectrum of spread/RPO possibilities are still very difficult to defend. I don't know which one of these RU will end up with, but it can still be a nightmare for defenses.

Someone gets it. Spread offenses proliferated because very good defensive coaches struggled to defend it. Nick Saban is one of the greatest defensive minds in college football. The spread is the only offense that his teams have struggled against. That's one reason Alabama runs a variation of it now.
It was also the same reason Bob Stoops installed the Airraid at Oklahoma when he became the head coach there. When he was the DC at Florida, he struggled to defend it when Hal Mumme was running it at Kentucky.
