I remember the "other side" going on about we would never remember our one n done's because they was only here like six month's and blah blah blah. You remember the horseshit they put out. Wasn' t these two only there maybe 6 month's? Did they not pull a "petrino" dumping on their previous schools (where they could have still played..IE Yogi Ferral) for a six month gig at Nasty U? How can that be or is it simply another version of squirtin outta both sides of their jealous mouth's again...Hmmm is all I can say!

What about the other Senior? No ring for him!

He wants us to feel sorry for two mercenaries? Then they over look a guy that has played four years. I wonder what happened to doing it the right way? Who told the UL fans that they were going to win a NC this year? They act like it was taken away from them. I watched part of the Georgia Tech game. They wouldn't make it past the sweet sixteen.

Of course they couldn't have done it without pimptino's hookers. Can't wait for their ceremony. Give them a ring coach. They are just about as much part of the program as the others.

You can give rings for championships up to a certain value. I would say this is a violation, but that's impossible since UL is the most compliant program.
They won a championship "The Hooker Open " I thought the scandal was a NASCAR event since it had multiple pole positions.

One of the things I enjoy is building relationships with guys, and I don't want to get to know them for seven months and they move on because I never get to know them." [laughing]

The fact that the rings say both "Louisville First" and "I've Got Your Back" is incredibly hypocritical. I don't understand how there is anyone who doesn't see right through this pathetic "playing the victim" charade. Sure, Lee and Lewis got screwed, but they were screwed by their own team/program/coach, not by some boogey man. The very team/program/coach that chose to ban them THIS year rather than next year while claiming to have the players' "back." Louisville First indeed. If I were Lee or Lewis, I would have thrown those rings back in the coach's face.

Would not be surprised to see a movement to change the name of the school to the University of Leewisville. They sure are kissing these guys' asses.

Per the NCAA standards .... isn't this an Impermissable Benefit ?? Or maybe the rings are CZ !!

I will reiterate - said it jokingly earlier, but now I have to wonder - doesn't matter if it's an impermissible benefit at this point. They can't play the post season, and Rick doesn't give a bloody damn if the regular season gets vacated. This is his FU to UofL administration.

Why does UofL giving out jewelry surprise anyone?
Apparently there are pearl necklaces flying around all over that place.

This. Also, what about the players who lost playing time to the two mercenaries? Guys that came to practice every day, waited their turn, and then "well we're bringing in this guy who already had his shot at Drexel/Cleveland State to get most of the minutes at your position". L1C4!

And for Lee and Lewis, we're forgoing your opportunity to save the banner won by the guys we're protecting.

After Pitino has spent so much time trying to save his reputation by throwing McGee under the bus, how awesome would it be if McGee broke his silence and returned favor? Hey Rick, Andre didn't set up the first party, the guy at the barber shop did. And someone called Andre AFTER HE LEFT YOUR PROGRAM to set something else up with one of her girls. Why is no one challenging U of L's "This is all on one guy" defense?

They are too busy trying to kill the messenger to look at the facts. There is still a rat over there and they are throwing this "poor me" smoke screen trying to hide him..... Hmmmmm, I wonder who the rat is? It is almost like their mantra of "No one on this team was involved". How about Mathiang's picture with the whores in Minardi Hall? It is stupid to think that none of the players on this team couldn't be involved. It is Lord Turtleneck's win at all cost attitude. I know Pitino didn't mind making himself look less than inadequate with his "15 seconds of fame". Almost like that made it OK to have sex on a table in a rest.?
Now they are trying to say that these infractions didn't garner any players???????? That NONE of these players were involved with the whores and strippers???????

I got banned from their site for asking these questions. Jerry Eaves has a show on 1080 from 12-1 right after KSR. He is asking these questions and from the way he was talking today he is getting heat for it!

Pitino owns the trademark for Louisville First. Yeah, he is all about that program.....NOT!

I have a question: I can understand a school paying for championship rings; but, wouldn't a ring for senior night be an impermissible benefit ?

Very strange all the way around.

ESPN's story on him will have people feeling good about what Pitino has done in Jefferson County. Truth is, he has taken extreme advantage of their situation, and has allowed LOTS of questionable activities take place.

What would have been nice would have been how many players has Pitino graduated in his time there. Has he really made a difference?
Its amazing that people support Pitino like HIllary; that fan base s/b embarrassed, but instead, they're getting behind their coach and supporting his management of the program.

Does a lie detector test really help Rick sleep at night? I guess like OJ he's out there looking for the culprit who did this behind his back.

It's been obvious for some time that ol' 3 stacks isn't the kind of coach to let a few pesky rules stand in his way.

The rings that Pitino gave to Lewis and Lee look to be diamond rings which
I guess cost quite a bit of money. Is that an NCAA violation or maybe Pitino
just doesn't care anymore? Giving gifts to players has always been a no no.
Maybe he can get Katrina and her crew some ON YOUR BACK rings for all
they have done for U of L.

You would think they checked it out ahead of time, but this is the most cheating school of possibly all time. So nothing from there would surprise me.

He really lives in a fantasy world doesn't he...I guess he thinks he's still in Camelot..:chairshot:
I'm glad he's not here. I really believe he is a sex addict. He fits all the criteria. No telling what kind of muck he would have drug us through by now.

What's the big deal? These guys were long time UL student athletes...strike that. These guys graduated from UL...strike that also, sorry. These guys chose UL first right out of high school and were long time fans...man, strike that too. These guys had a huge future that they gave up before going to UL. They went to UL to be part of a team, not to increase their chance of playing in the NBA...not right either.
CORRECTIONS: two hired guns, that were drafted into the program that cannot recruit freshman like everyone else. Their college careers were spent elsewhere. They graduated elsewhere. Pitino is just milking the press one more time. His next words will be that they were the best players he has ever coached and should be considered for Hero of the Year awards.

Since they got one that said, "I've got your back", they should have given one to Katina that says, "I'm on my back"

Pitino on his personal blog today..this crap is unbelievable.."Someone approached me the next day and asked the question what did I think of the trustee that brought up my indiscretion from ten years ago? I responded this way and I will share it with you. My price was paid for a long time. Any time a person hurts their loved ones, the pain is greater than one can imagine. As for the person who said it, the glass houses are overflowing with people who throw those stones. That trustee would be better served trying to get a dysfunctional board on some form of a team. I’ll make a suggestion to the person I have not met: let God judge and get out of your glass house."
