that's not accurate. He was actually the more active shooter throughout the match. He didn't try to do much on top other than ride, but that's all I can fault Murin on. SVN was too passive on his feet.

felt like outside the 1st period boundary shot and the one he scored in the 3rd he just sat and waited / reacted? Maybe just frustration for me. SVN didn’t do much of anything either to be totally fair. Which was more disappointing.

Nothing thru 1 min. Haines for a low single but CS skips away. Haines in on a head outside single, CS reaches over for an ankle, they scramble, and a stalemate with 30 sec left. Haines in on a head single, CS rolls thru and grabs an ankle, and stopped for PD with 4 sec left (correct call). End

Haines takes bottom. He's up quickly, but bear hugged and down, and then Haines scoots out after 23 sec, 1-0. Haines sort of shoots, blocked. CS is doing nothing on his feet. 40 sec left. Haines sort of reaches, nothing. End. RT @ 23 sec for CS

Per 3
CS takes bottom. Claw ride and then CS is out in 9 sec, 1-1. Haines with a head outside single and gets the TD, 3-1. He tilts him but only gets 1 swipe. CS works to his feet and he's out, 3-2. RT not a factor. 45 sec left. CS with a shot, blocked, and OOB with 16 sec left. CS sort of shoots, Haines iwht a counter, but there's the buzzer. 3-2, DEC for Haines

I’d generally agree, but when it comes to wrestling Iowa I don’t have that kind of self control.

Good first half. I thought Bartlett wrestled really well. He’s right there with Woods. Van Ness needs to get the offense going. Seems like he’s a little tentative committing to the shot. Iowa’s 157 pounder is so funky to wrestle, but a good tough win from Haines. RBY’s pin was huge. I had it 12-8 Iowa after the first 5 matches so 11-9 is a win for PSU. If Facundo comes out with a win at 165, PSU should roll. If not, it’s still a match.

lol. Guys have joked about slipping me something if I make the right calls, but if anyone EVER seriously tried to pay me off, I would immediately interrupt what I was doing and report them. Refs don't work for free, but no serious ref would consider being bought off.
