One can argue the booing turned the game around. The beauty of our stadium like the RAC is the loudness.
I did think that the obvious bad call fired up everbody, the D, our O, and the fans. Almost a turning point of sorts. One can argue the booing turned the game around. The beauty of our stadium like the RAC is the loudness.
definitely a fake picture...today was a black out, plus its night timeNo one told them :

How do you explain the other games. Homecoming wasn’t much better. Let’s face the facts. We need a lot of fair weather fans.
For the record it was "Ref You Suck" and it sounded like most of the stadium was chanting in unison. I think they got the message. The chant of "The Referees Suck" was pretty solid too.
Johnson Park. No brainer.Yes, unfortunately we have a lot of fair weather fans that are not thrilled by CFB in New Jersey....unless it’s a big time team is visiting and RU is having a real strong season.
I have said this before and will say it again. The Parking situation at HPSS is a huge deterrent to attracting new fans to the RU football game. Nobody wants to wait 60 minutes to take buses back to the RAC after a game ( and having to pay $25 for the “convenience “). Something needs to be done or we will never have a big time home crowd at the RU games. Options like allowing Parking on the Golf Course ( like Michigan does) or a new Garage. Something. Also the Ticket cost and Concession Prices are a huge issue .
So are you running for best fan of RU?fans should show up to support the team, regardless...you know, like much of the rest of our conference.
Lol.....he does......but he means well....Is it me or does OP make the same post every game...
Johnson Park. No brainer.
When Michigan was bad for 2 years under Brady Hoke they gave away tickets to their games on the labels of Coke bottles in the vending machines around town. So.fans should show up to support the team, regardless...you know, like much of the rest of our conference.
I thought this was most sparse crows this season. Entire sections empty. That being siad, it pretty darn loud in section 128.
Guys enough already look at Florida State Syracuse today there are barely any students at the game and that is FSU. Plain and simple if you don’t win fans don’t come even in the hotbed of college football that FSU is!!!We go again. It has nothing whatsoever to do with an exciting offense or not. Plenty of teams in the SEC live on the fence, and have for ages, doesn’t stop fans from going to see their games. This is all a product of the previous regime, last season, the decline in season tickets, and this game being moved so late. North end zone is the perfect example as it was practically empty.
Keep winning, Move further out from the flood regime, get back to bowl games, and the fans will be back Citing offense or not.
Greg’s teams didn’t Play exciting offense for all but two seasons yet the fans were there. Silly thought process.
the core is as good as any. the rest are truly disappointing...Stadium is empty
You tell me you are a fan!!!!!!Ppl don't go because they get fleeced. $4 bottled water. Harassing you about seat cushions, what's it to park now over at the RAC, $25?. Sorry Rutgers, I'm not your ATM machine. I'll watch on HD TV from the bar
I'm here. I've only missed 2 home games in 14+ yrs
Stupid post. We are winning games. Who cares how pretty you look winning.we have a boring offense no one wants to watch it.
Stop your whining .Yes, unfortunately we have a lot of fair weather fans that are not thrilled by CFB in New Jersey....unless it’s a big time team is visiting and RU is having a real strong season.

the fans do which is why they aren't showing up. How else do you explain it, they all had a wedding to go to? Stupid post.Stupid post. We are winning games. Who cares how pretty you look winning.
Rather win ugly than lose pretty. But to each his own.the fans do which is why they aren't showing up. How else do you explain it, they all had a wedding to go to? Stupid post.
i would too, the topic is why are casual fans not here? Many casual fans don't care about wins and losses they are there for the experience or excitement, especially students. Only the nerds on the message boards like us really care about the wins and losses.Rather win ugly than lose pretty. But to each his own.
Pretty sure I'm losing my voice tomorrow. Great Game!
I think you're correct. Several in our tailgate group didn't make the game because they had no desire to watch the game at Yankee Stadium and so they made other plans.
that series of booing the refs was the best Rutgers Fan response I have seen in MANY many years. Nice job to those of us that were there to participate.
#Proudofthefans there today.
That was SO friggin' awesome! And it just kept going on and on and on!I admit, I loved it. Our fans can really, really, really hold a grudge. It just went on and on, and kept coming back.
I've heard a lot of them aren't gonna renew their season tickets next year because the YS game didn't happen.I heard their was a large contingent who were protesting the move back to HPSS.
You're delusional. I said several people. Abigail and her parents are several people. They told me they weren't going to YS and that's why they went to b-day party. They weren't going. Only reason Justin was going was because it was a chance to get the kids into the city.Uhhhh, were you not paying attention? Justin and his young kids were absolutely going to the game if it had been in Yankee Stadium, as it was going to be the first time he'd ever taken them into the City. And Adam preferred going to YS - they always had plans to be in Philly today for his nephew's b-day party - he was hoping for a noon game in the Bronx. The rest of the crew was neutral - you're the only one who was virulently against a game at YS. That's obvoiusly different from what most on this board have posted about the game in the Bronx.
No.. it is your attitude that is the problem. Whining about things you cannot control. I bet you complain that fans do not donate enough as well.Your attitude is why our fanbase is terrible. Have some pride.

The entire civilized world knows football at YS sucks worse than a hooker with STDs.
