So, what will the score be next year with them? Rattler will have a field day.

I can see it being exactly how the Ohio State game went this year. A solid 52-17 a$$ beating. Until this staff can prove me different, I think we’re galaxies away from these top 5 teams.

Announcers just said OU believes this bowl game will help them start next year. I guess we figured we would be better off resting for our OU game. Maybe we can opt out.

You do realize we have a conference game with Illinois and a home game against Buffalo before the Sooner game right?

I heard that too. I said the same that about how playing the bowl game would help build momentum and people on here call us who think that way trolls. Lincoln Riley literally said the bowl game will help build momentum. He didn’t give them the option to opt out. They played. Florida on the other hand had guys opt out but I respect them for still playing and taking one on the chin. Yet our players are at home probably watching this game. Dumb

Why would you opt out of New Years6 bowl game in the first place....

This isn’t the Guaranteed rate bowl we’re talking about here...

This game is a classic example of the better team not giving a f^*@ about the bowl game. Same story as Texas in 18 and us against Georgia with bo.

Lincoln Riley is a fraud. Sad part is they will enter 2021 in the top 5, run through a **** big 12 schedule, and then get embarrassed in the cfp again.

Wouldn't be the first time.

We opted out of the bowl game and Illinois this season, Minnesota 2019, and Michigan in 2018.

Hopefully some of the underclassmen can provide some player leadership starting next season.
I sense a growing faction of serious players within the program. I don’t think the softies will get to have their way so much in the future.

Only positive I see is that the game is early next year and OU usually stumbles early. Not calling for an upset. We’re not at K-States level yet to pull that off, unfortunately.
