I've been watching the game. The story is that they had no answer for Texas' big man. Starters in the first half, sans AJ, didn't do any scoring, where AJ had 20. AJ got help in the 2nd with scoring, but overall, BYU defense has been bad. Heck of an effort by the 'horns, I have to say.
Not sure how Greg Gard has survived as long as he has.

Wally Sczerbiak made a good point early. The NBA game is more spaced, whereas the college game is more packed. That will allow AJ more room to operate and facilitate at the next level.

As far as a very brief comparison of the Hawks and BYU. Both teams have a star player, but struggle with opponents who have size. What happened to BYU tonight could very well happen to us if we don't make our 3s IMHO. Throw over the top and outrebound us and there you have it. Just my strictly unreliable opinion.The NBA teams are tanking for him!
