I wish I was 1000% sold on Iowa's "lock" status as some are, because this is how I'm seeing things ......

If there is any one current bubble at-large team that is going to knock Iowa out of lock status and 'steal' Iowa's NCAAT bid, its going to be OSU.

The Buckeyes get Indiana at home on the weekend to finish the regular season and then - assuming they win that - will get the winner of Iowa vs ? on Thursday morning at the BTT.


The setup for that potential scenario is there if Iowa loses both games this week, OSU beats IU, and Iowa either loses on BTT Wednesday or loses to OSU on BTT Thursday.

With a plausible sceanrio where Iowa ends up in Dayton.

I'd like to get Washington's (former Rutgers) Lathan Sommerville (yes, Marcellus's son) to Iowa. If basketball doesn't work out he'd be a heck of a Left Tackle 6'10" 275lbs.

Even after a year & a few months, still getting used to watching a Pac12 game masquerading as a B1G contest, late at night in the middle of the week.

Oregon has talent..travel get them?
West Coast ball has not been great for awhile but not sure why...lot of these guys could play for hawks.

Throw Steinbach in the deal ..22 pts 23 rbs so far tonite...we need a German 7 fter..
Wash is cruising ahead of USC 85-65 now.
Teams I prefer hawks miss in BTT first round:
Wash, NW
Give me USC or MD or PSU..revenge!!!

You watch games like this, and wonder how Iowa took it to this Washington team in the 2nd half, in Seattle.

Hawks really contained Steinbach. He had a decent game, but nothing like he's done tonight.

WASH gonna win this game by ~20.
