Still early, Michigan just scored at TD and the game is still in the first half.

Nebraska hasn't look all that good on offense or defense either thus far in their game.

EDIT: Purdue up 27-7 now

Penalties killing any chance for a Nebraska comeback. Two personal fouls on that last drive, leading to a TD. 42-21 Purdue.

Apparently Nebraska is a full rebuild.
We won’t give Frost any credit when he wins 9 games in year three because they’re Nebraska

I lived in Omaha during the day… When they were pretty much unbeatable and their fans were insufferable… I bet it’s a different scene right now

Good coaches don't take over a good but struggling program and immediately lose every game in year one. I doubt he'll work out.

Nebraska's offense is actually quite fun/pretty to watch when it's humming and they've shown flashes of it today but they've had some injuries and penalty problems and defense still needs work.

NW defense has been playing valiantly but the offense has been shut down since the first half. Will it be too late to restart the engine now?

Deflection for the INT too bad for OSU. Nice effort by #1 though on OSU to try an strip it from behind.

EDIT: twitter wars now between players lol

Oh baby too much speed there, turned on the after burners by 1 on PSU.

OSU defense has been burnt by big plays at times this year.

Cousins live in Lincoln. They tell me their sports stations talk Nebraska football 24-7 as really no other pro teams.

That was a schiano special on that play. Way too aggressive with the blitzing on 3rd and 10 from their own 1. Love the guy but he’s been burned liked that many times at ru.

How's this for a stat. WSU beat Utah 28-24 yesterday, 2nd time in 5 years they won a game with 0 rushing yards. All other FBS teams have 1 win like that.

No that must be a mistake. Impossible to win by focusing on passing the ball.
This must be a mistake too:

Time of Possession
WSU 30:47
Utah 29:13

Alot of people on here have repeatedly said the only way to win games is slow offense, run the ball, northeast 3 yards and a cloud of dust, meathead football.

You can't possibly win the all important TOP unless you run the ball every play and run out the clock.

The boxscore is clearly wrong.

I was just pointing that out as fun fact but okay lol. I would like a more wide open spread offense as I've said here many times but I still think you need at least a semi competent ground game.

You might not see it with Leach as much but you know Art Briles' (Leach tree) teams when they got it going at Baylor were actually near the top in rushing yards per game often say top 10-15 IIRC. So you might not think it on first blush but they actually were able to run the ball too.

If Arkansas hadn’t given up the opening kickoff for a 100 yard TD we might have actually shocked Texas’s A & M. But a very valiant effort by our defense and better QB play anyway. We lost 24-17.

Alabama comes to Fayetteville this weekend. Not expecting a victory by any means, but the Hogs seem to be improving each week.

Bama 57, Arkansas 10.
