You tend to want to always wait and defer to the future, which never gets here. We are already about 25-33% of the way through the OOC schedule.

At this point, the BE and ACC have done poorly, and the B1G has done well. The BE hasnt looked good.

A B1G team is getting rolled by an AAC team right now

True, but what about the early season makes you think the Big East is underrated?
Season is in its infancy

We’ll find out later
So today Xavier loses at home and MSU beats Nova. Georgetown gets blown out again (by Loyola) and DePaul down 15 at the half to Santa Clara. So I will ask again, what about this early season makes you think the Big East is underrated?

Xavier almost beat the #1 ranked B1G team
Xavier matches up well with them because of their size inside. Jackson-Davis along with their big stud freshman are going to be a handful. Illinois looks very impressive right now also. Illinois replacement for Kofi, Dain Dainja, looks very good.

not sure if anybody saw the end of regulation in Michigan/Ohio game yesterday. Ohio down by 2, inbounding under their own basket with 2 seconds left. inbounder throws a length of court baseball pass (that i thought was flying over the backboard he threw it so hard) that actually hit the back of rim / backboard joint where you get that dead thud "brick" , and it rebounded directly to a Ohio guy in the paint , who actually missed a bunny, but Ohio was fortunate to make offensive rebound and put back at the buzzer.

i thought clock should start when ball hit the backboard/rim, but apparently it does not. defenders were def caught by surprise when having to turn and rebound off backboard, maybe that's a play moving forward with a second left and full court pass required, lol.

Not going to sugar coat, but my Hoosiers played like crap and still managed to win. Couple of years ago we would have lost by 10 on the way we played
I'm sure Indiana gave their best effort, but so did Xavier. A win is a win, right?
