I walked out of Dumb and Dumber. Very annoying. The Green Hornet was the worst big budget superhero movie ever made.
Worse than The Hulk?
Worse than Daredevil?
Worse than half the Tim Burton Bat man Movies?
I can come up with more if I think about it

I don't think the Green Hornet is in my top five worst superhero movies

Tim Burton's Batman movies were fantastic... the Joel Schumacher ones were the ones that blew (and meaning that in the gayest way possible given his obsession with Batman's nipples)

Dumb and Dumber is a great movie for what it set out to accomplish. It is one of the funniest movies ever.

Dumb and Dumber To and Dumb and Dumberer not so much.
Dumb and Dumber has laughs but please do not compare it to all time great comedies. It does not belong on the lists of the best, or the worst, movies ever. I would put it in the top ten Jim Carrey films ever but it does not make the top five, maybe #7 or 8

A high school wrestler from the pacific northwest, despite being very good at his current weight, inexplicable decides to cut 20 pounds to wrestle a defending, undefeated state champion just for his own glory. He needs to convince his widowed dad, coach, and actually drop way below his natural weight, all while working a night job as a waiter and trying to bang an older, edgy chick that has moved into his house and happens to be from Trenton, NJ. In a sappy happy ending, he manages to get the girl and win the match despite obviously being outclassed and malnourished. It's all because he had a vision.

only to learn at the end that we have been duped by plot holes big enough to drive a tank through.
FIFY

Like all Kevin Costner movies, it is terribly flawed. Maybe this one had potential, unlike Waterworld or Dances with 5 Hours Too Long.

Baby Driver was the worst movie I've seen in the past years...
No plot to the movie...

Sounds like it could be the best wrestling movie ever made and a surefire classic. When does it open?:)

"Paterno" (coming to HBO). Will definitely be the worst plot ever. Lock the thread.

It's not an imaginary Russian spy. It's one that's been rumored to exist within the CIA, but dismissed by most as myth.
That Costner is indeed the spy is great irony and it's a great suspense film. IMO.

I’m other words, A Scanner Darkly?

Your opinion only. I’ve watched D&D a hundred times and it gets me laughing harder everytime.

How about Lucy? A human being who transform into a USB drive.
Luc Besson movies are strange but they're all strange the same way. 5th Element and Lucy have a lot of the same schtick. Like Terry Gilliam Movies....is Brazil very different from 12 Monkeys?

No Way Out. Kevin Costner is put in charge of looking for an imaginary Russian spy to frame for killing the Sec of Defense's girlfriend. At the end, the big plot twist is that Costner actually is a Russian spy, which is totally irrelevant to the fact that they were trying to frame an imaginary Russian spy.
Was there a movie wrapped around that scene with Sean Young? That's the only thing I remember.

I noticed that the Mexican had some very well known actors. So I tried
watching it. That bad movie has to be high on the list.
Once Upon a Time in Mexico had Selma Hayek in it. Anything with Selma is OK.

Many Costner films are bad, but Field of Dreams and Bull Durham are probably the two best baseball movies ever made. Silverado was a good movie, and of course, The Big Chill was terrific.

How about awards for worst remake of a great original movie? I would nominate:

The In-Laws
The Heartbreak Kid

Frozen. It was good until she didn't kill everyone after the climax. All that winter power gone to waste...:flush:

Probably the movie I hated the most was The Royal Tennenbaums, which included one of my favorite actors, Gene Hackman. But it also had Ben Stiller, whom I just cannot stand.

Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, with Sylvester Stallone as the evil Toymaker.

Spy Kids 2 is the absolute BEST kids movie, ever. Then they just had to ruin a good thing, and make the 3-D one.

Dungeons and Dragons was hours of my life I'll never get back.

Plan 9 from Outer Space was pretty terrible, too.

Are we talking about bad movies or terrible movies. Because if we're talking about terrible movies:
Gymkata -Olympic gymnast Kurt Thomas fights

Paternity - Burt Reynolds is pregnant

I don't see anything in this thread that comes close to challenging these two.

Agree on Field of Dreams and Bull Durham.
I would add Tin Cup as a good sports related movie.
However, The Big Chill is really bad. Can't blame that on Costner though. He's already dead in the opening scene.

Completely disagree about the Big Chill: loved that movie. In addition, what a fantastic soundtrack.
