SD. Free country last I checked. Why all the censorship nowadays?? Hmmm?Is it really necessary for the Gov of SC to offer her thoughts on a song by a B-list country dude bro?
Therein lies the problem. I self-censor in public settings all the time. I’m not weighing in with the bank teller on the Aldean nonsense.SD. Free country last I checked. Why all the censorship nowadays?? Hmmm?
He still has the right to make it and sing it.That dude is a Hack... Take the pandering message out and that song is terrible, as is so much of "pop country"
It's a cash grab song and that's it...
That's actually a huge problem right now. All these dimwits on social media think people care, and shockingly enough some do.Therein lies the problem. I self-censor in public settings all the time. I’m not weighing in with the bank teller on the Aldean nonsense.
Can you post the verbiage .. I’m pretty neutral (more pro pot, but the pot heads annoy me) but I’d like to see it.Some didn’t. I read the measure. It was written by a pro pot group and was purposely misleading. SD’s AG was a hot mess and his explanation of the measure was poorly written.
He’s still pretty A list bro…is wv still the unhealthiest state? Is it really necessary for the Gov of SC to offer her thoughts on a song by a B-list country dude bro?
But you’re weighing in on a Husker board? Fascinating…Therein lies the problem. I self-censor in public settings all the time. I’m not weighing in with the bank teller on the Aldean nonsense.
I’m sure you can google it. I read it in an area newspaper the Yankton Daily Press and Dakotan. I’m 64 and had multiple friends 65-75 years old from the Yankton area who said they voted for it thinking it was for medical MJ.Can you post the verbiage .. I’m not a fan of modern “country” but play me some Hank and Bob Wills. That dude is a Hack... Take the pandering message out and that song is terrible, as is so much of "pop country"

I see the term medical use used several times so yeah.. gotta agree with dingle.
It clearly states to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana; AND to require the Legislature to pass laws regarding hemp as well as laws ensuring access to marijuana for medical useI see the term medical use used several times so yeah.. gotta agree with dingle.
The govt approved the language … the people voted, and when the govt didn’t like the outcome of the vote they decided their constituency was too stupid to understand what they were voting on and nullified itI see the term medical use used several times so yeah.. gotta agree with dingle.
Small? Come on now. 852 people. Guaranteed you've got a Dollar General and at least one Convenience Store!Growing up in a small town (pop. 852), I was hoping for a much better song.
That is true. Remember I said it was 65-75 year olds who told me the ballot confused them. The real problem was the way the AG’s explanation appeared supposedly. One woman thought you had to approve both to get medical pot.It clearly states to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana; AND to require the Legislature to pass laws regarding hemp as well as laws ensuring access to marijuana for medical use
The reason it got shot down in the courts is because it included two items.. Rec and Medical
That's fair.. I'm from a much younger demographic and they all knew the agenda.. They all had sources regardless of regulation but now everyone can just go to Flandreau (Indian reservation) and get what they need with no hassle... I think that's what drove down the number of voters on the 2022 amendmentThat is true. Remember I said it was 65-75 year olds who told me the ballot confused them. Haha, I hear ya!Small? Come on now. 852 people. Guaranteed you've got a Dollar General and at least one Convenience Store!
Weren't they pulling people over leaving the reservation at one time? Not sure if they are still doing that or it was as bad as advertised. That's fair.. I don't know of any one that has been pulled over.. Hard to justify as there is a casino there so people are there for multiple reasons.. I don't have many friends that go for this reason so my sample size is smallWeren't they pulling people over leaving the reservation at one time? Dude.. it’s confusing..It clearly states to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana; AND to require the Legislature to pass laws regarding hemp as well as laws ensuring access to marijuana for medical use
The reason it got shot down in the courts is because it included two items.. Rec and Medical
On purpose?Listen to the new song/Rap by Kid Rock Ain't No One Gonna Tell Me How To Live.
It’s the govt job to approve the language or educate its constituency about what the proposal states.Dude.. it’s confusing..
You know it, I know it and your grandma that voted for it knows it
Make it clear and simple.. it was purposely misleading and some (anecdotal as it is) thought they voted for something else. It’s the govt job to approve the language or educate its constituency about what the proposal states.
It’s some fascist **** to just decide what the electorate voted isn’t valid
Why not just purposely make proposals vague and if those in power like the results let it stand and if not nullify it claiming the language was confusing
It’s not my job to make sure the language was clear. It was the governments. They F’d it up.Make it clear and simple.. it was purposely misleading and some (anecdotal as it is) thought they voted for soemthit else.
You can’t with a clear conscious think the verbiage was clear, right?
I could fix it in two seconds
1. Should weed be legal to anyone to use that is over the age of 21
Yes or No
Boom - solved. No confusion.
Usually that’s just a bunch of jackasses opining about football. That’s why I’m here. Maybe Noem has a take on whether Sims is all that and a gag of chips. Once upon a time, midwestern governors of both parties didn’t feel the need to weigh in on contrived culture war items. Sadly, that time is past. But you’re weighing in on a Husker board? Fascinating…
Is it the governments job or the people bringing it to the ballot? I thought they typically run it through to make sure it will be legal though. It’s not my job to make sure the language was clear. It was the governments. They F’d it up.
Results should stand and if they want it brought up in another election then they can put it on the ballot again
Once upon a time teachers weren’t grooming kids but alas.. times have changedUsually that’s just a bunch of jackasses opining about football. That’s why I’m here. Probably.. but alcohol is already legal. If both were illegal today you’d have a leg to stand on, but your myopic viewpoint is your proverbial ball and chain.. good luck with thatAnyone who thinks weed shouldn’t be legal citing health and abuse concerns should also favor making alcohol illegal and
Probably. I’m just not in the habit of restricting freedoms like some one these state governing bodiesProbably.. but alcohol is already legal. If both were illegal today you’d have a leg to stand on, but your myopic viewpoint is your proverbial ball and chain.. good luck with that
You bet! Mine was about 550 growing up and had 3 bars. Now down to one ****** one. People just don't booze after work like they used to I guessHaha, I hear ya!
Recently (3 years ago?) did my hometown get a Dollar General. Definitely a c-store.
Yes, there are many smaller towns in Nebraska (my wife's hometown with population 410 had 3 bars at one time!), but <900 pop is still small, right?
Did you type this out with your mask on?Probably. I’m just not in the habit of restricting freedoms like some one these state governing bodies
