All he did was show images of what happened during the riots. Funny how you assume all the rioters were black. Images of white women flipping off cops and spitting on cops were in his video too. Was a white woman hung outside the courthouse? You liberal gas lighters constantly have to be outraged about something. Was the remake of Fast Car by a white country singer racist too?😒

That would be your summer of love riots in 2020. When the purple hair soy boy BLM and Antifa pussies had around 500 riots that caused around 5 billion in damage and injured thousands. Since you watch CNN they were labeled as "mostly peaceful". Probably why you're so confused.

So you were talking about the BLM riots. I agree, they were awful and stupid where there was damage to property/people. Besides, as Mike Pence said: “All lives matter”

As you say, the average person thinks the video is about Black Lives Matter riots. Do you think it’s a good idea to shoot a video that protests Black Lives Matter In front of a place where a black man was lynched, and there was a race riot?

That is my only point.

BLM the group doesn't give two ***** about black people. It's a Marxist group of women who hate America that used it as a big money scam to fleece millions out of liberal idiots. All in the name of "social justice". And it worked. BLM really stands for Burn. Loot, Murder. And Buy. Large. Mansions.
PS. Mike Pence is an idiot.

Well, I didn’t donate to BLM. I guess that means I’m not a liberal idiot.

Thanks for the compliment!

I am going to dive in again.
Did not read last 40 or so posts.

I will suggest music and art is provative by its nature.

The 60’s frightened my parents with the overtly suggestive nature of pop music.

Hair debuted as a Rock Opera, widely panned because of genre, not message, or both, lol.

Jesus Christ Superstar came out in 1970 with top shelf talent.

Both were excoriated, but wildly popular.

Stravinsky’s, “Rite of Spring”, caused riots outside Paris concert hall, where debuted in 1913.

Jason Aldean is merely a performer trying to achieve.
This song will never stand the “Test of Time”, as my other examples do, but caused controversy, as all art may do.

Cancelling songs is like censoring your local library because there is a book you don’t agree with.

If you do not like it, and I am not impressed, don’t listen.

Part of the freedoms we enjoy.

As a 20 year dj, the song sucks, but poses questions we all need address.

Congratulations to Jason Aldean for his latest hit song reaching #2 in the charts. The victim angle is red hot for movies and songs this summer! I like the song and see nothing wrong with it. I’m glad he’s successful. The perception of victimhood and free publicity is a huge benefit.

I wonder if he was performing in small town and a gunman opened fire he would have warned his audience rather than scurrying offstage without saying a thing like he did in Vegas

What exactly at that point would the audience need to be warned about? Was he armed and able to respond in Vegas?
