Some vehicles just sit too low in the front to effectively park front in first. I have Challenger Hellcat that will sustain damage to the splitter if i park front end first.

Is that true?

I thought backing into a parking spot was just something that dudes in trucks and rednecks did...
It is true. Where I work they set guidelines for parking, with backing into spots being prohibited. They cited “safety” reasons. Well, me not being a fan of HR, I looked into it - it was bullsh*t. Top 3 transportation and automotive safety sites clearly state backing in is safer due to more care being takes when backing in using mirrors/cameras, and driving out of the spot. The traditional method yielded significantly more damage incidents compared to backing in. I was happy to call out the HR feelings over facts angle. I don’t care how you park, just don’t cite made up sh*t and try to pass it as facts.

I think you might be the liberal version of me.

dudes who don’t mind making people wait because they need to back their car up are more than giant homo. I can’t help but look at them as I drive by, just to get a glimpse of what a ****** behind the wheel looks like.
My wife is from Costa Rica. She always insists on backing up ... just in case there is an earthquake. Of which they occur far more often in Costa Rica. She even backs up if there is a close by available pull through twofer.

In my pickup trucks (one for each of my 19 vacation homes) it's easier to back in when I arrive and be able to pull out easily. I've had trouble pulling out in the past and it's cost me dearly
Wait.. what are we talkin' about here?

How about those city planners that installed the back-in spaces downtown?
How about the city planners that design parking spots only a compact car will fit in while still being able to open a door. Then they require X amount of off street spots per human capacity of a restaurant such that only a scooter will fit in the spots😡. I give you Austin TX. My son traded off his Jeep Grand Cherokee for a smaller Audi SUV in part because it barely fit in his garage and he had trouble parking the Jeep downtown. Same gas mileage. Way less room.

Roundabouts are just the top of the iceberg😉

Sometimes I back in, sometimes I don't. Depends. What I know for sure is that no one has ever had to wait for me to do it because I actually take pains to not be an annoying dipshit. To be completely honest, despite the fact that I see lots of "backed in" vehicles - I personally have never been stuck waiting while someone backs in. Although this could be because I'd rather walk 100 yards than fight over a closer parking spot. I think this is a made up grievance that lives in the minds of people looking for their next reason to hate life.

100%. Sad people, sad in their lives they created. There is a certain percentage of the population that NEEDS to be offended. It’s what they live for. Just imagine that kind of daily life!

I have a feeling that everyone that posts here will agree that you are the most offended poster on this site. EVERYTHING offends you. You are the "certain percentage of the population"

I mean, now you are offended about people that don't back into parking spots!

Everyone else here is just having fun.

You've backed in, you've seen cars that appear have backed in, but in your small town, you've never waited for someone backing in, so it's made up by people who hate life. That's something.

Typical little coward shitlib with the family attack. Do you pathetic retards ever learn? You should look up cause and effect you poor, pathetic clown. Imagine as a grown man going out of your way to imagine a way to ***** about how others park. I mean, this much be a very difficult challenge for you. Are you ok? Did other peoples vehicles trigger you yet today?
Did your pathetic “dad” teach you how to be this big of a loser?

So you actually ARE offended by backed-in vehicles? And it is a major complication for your life in the major metropolitan area that you live in? You must be the guy throwing temper tantrums in parking lots. That's something.
