I could use it. Been a rough week so far. Last week wasn’t good either.
Of course Varonis news today is that Proofpoint in talks to potentially acquire it…on my buy list didn’t pull trigger!

HOOD up 10% this morning. Not sure why.

Chart looking very constructive. Right at a breakout level.
No idea if they’re monetizing it or how it impacts the bottom line but it’s currently having a memecoin moment on its robinhood chain

MRVL on a good run.
Thanks for the bump. Wasn’t in the mood to look for this.

MRVL ran with AI euphoria early this year amd peaked right about when Jensen called it a trillion dollar stock. Cooled off but looks to have found its footing.

EWY chart looks similar but better i own KORU. 3x leverage.

META, which did look like it found a bottom, popping on it’s MUSE agent

NET also popping today.

Big 2 day pop for ARBE on news of a deal with a Chinese autonomous company. Still a penny stock. Im still in the red. But I still like the potential.

I was in the green most of the day yesterday before going red late. Currently im the green today. See if it sticks

Josh Brown's TTAN blew up today. Double beat on rev and earnings, but slightly light guidance. Down a whopping 30%. Buying opportunity? Sounds like they are transitioning their platform to something more integrated with AI (kind of like PANW did last year, right?).

I've done well with TOST calls, so maybe I can repeat the trade! :)

Right back to the lows of April. See if it can hold the line there.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a Burry take I agree with, and here it is

“Below are his reasonings:
1. LLMs are not AI and won't be AGI. There is nothing AI to slow down.

2. Competition is coming up fast, slowing benefits incumbents.

3. IPOs need hype & puffery; "we are so awesome it could become dangerous" is hype & puffery

4. Cover for real uncontrollable slowing growth as IPOs look to be pushed out”

Totally agree…does anyone think the first caveman that rubbed two sticks together and created fire was rich? These LLMs are commodities now. And open models will win over closed at least outside of specific environments or applications

Hmm, not sure if I fully agree, but a shockingly reasonable take by Crazy Burry.

The whole thing is 99% a coordinated regulatory capture play. His explanation is as reasonable as any being put out there and similar to Sacks who has been the Dario foil for months.

This whole thing is nonsense. What start-up or company in history ever said “we need more regulation”…let’s make our private investors less rich…let’s make less money for the good of humanity…

Hard for me not to think conspiracy theory given possibility that the entire stock market could tank on slowing AI growth with these two companies in the middle of it

WTI at $103.

Approaching a triple top? Or a break out?

It does remind me a bit of the Manhattan project, and those guys were very concerned with the product they were creating.

That was a top secret govt project. If the scientists and their investors were gonna be billionaires they would have been selling nukes at the general store.

10 yr tsy at 5% is a killer. Market has more downside than upside risk going into midterms. At this point, don’t see an off ramp with Iran and that 100+ oil is the new norm.

Anyone catch Andrew Yang’s CNBC interview yesterday? basically said the reason why frontier labs freaking out because they were training on the internet and agents/bots started self replicating uncontrollably and polluted the internet. I’ve been investing/trading in the market for over 20 years. Last six+ months the charts just look different to me and the sector rotations happen light years faster than in the past. The charts start to look like mini pump and dumps. It’s not crazy to think that trading bots are coordinating trades and exploiting/driving volatility. Just a bot version of Roaring Kitty on a grander scale. Thoughts?

Who’s money are the bots trading for?

Prop desks… platforms like Interactive brokers have AI trading products…apps like TradeGPT, StockHero, etc. Or even something as simple as asking ChatGPT every morning - if everyone is getting the same answers and trading you can see how that may move the market. Obviously nobody makes money in the short term without volatility. One clear example in my mind is the constant software/AI see saw. Or look at strange action in biotech. Moderna makes a huge cancer breakthrough leading the sector higher with some of the ETFs making 10-12-% gains in a week. Since that time those same ETFs couple weeks later are down 8%. Sure, there was gonna be profit taking. I can’t wrap my head around the 20% move. The biotech ETFs are performing way worse than before that major cancer breakthrough?

Welp try it again. Majors all up over 1% in premarket.

Buy the news on the rate hike I'm guessing.

Unless the agents are all breaking out, each firms AI is not sharing info with the rest of the street. Unless you think every firms is colluding with each other.

WTI falls back to $100.

Does that explain the market being up, or is it all the same trade?

Perhaps in reaction to Trump not escalating the conflict right now. Or maybe people realizing that a 25 (or even 50 bps) rate increase is completely and utterly irrelevant in every way.
