Some people should celebrate with their clothes on.

One of the all time hilarious skits ever . Hard to believe they are both gone .

Tbf this has been going on for a while. It’s been going on in Soccer, not just European for ages.

Happens a lot in hockey too. And has been for some time.

I think it probably originated by someone who was just hot after a game and took off his/her gear to cool off while celebrating and it stuck. I’m not sure why you’re so sensitive about the players doing it. Doesn’t make sense for the coaches, I agree.
Never said I was sensitive. Just saying it's stupid.

And yes, I know it's been around. But it's growing in popularity with sportsmen. Just waiting for that day when I flip on ESPN this summer and catch a bass fisherman championship winner ripping off his shirt to celebrate in Alabama....

Last month in Phoenix.....

Oh I see. Rally towel kinda thing.

Still looks absolutely ridiculous (and no I'm not "sensitive" or "complaining", for those that like to spin everything into a conflict). Wonder what the psychology is behind this ongoing, extended fad of shirt removal after a win...
