OT-Post debate polls...

Trump will likely lose the popular vote by 5% and still win the Electoral college. 459000 white non-college-educated voters in Wisconsin did not vote in 2016. After Kenosha and all the other BS happening in democratic-run cities the last year you can take it to the bank that they are turning out in droves this year.

Biden and Harris have flip-flopped on fracking in Pennsylvania. That's a big issue. It will be critical that Trump wins Pennsylvania and he will. As far as polling in other states goes, it's BS. Mainstream media is the propaganda arm of the DNC. They are under sampling Republican voters. Then they run their stories hoping to convince people that sleepy Joe is ahead. Nobody believes he is up to the task of running this country. Don't get me started on Harris. She is widely hated among her own party

Their flip-flopping, inability to answer questions, and explicit refusal to answer questions, as inexplicable and laughable as it is, doesn’t matter. The 4+ year media onslaught combined with Trumps inability to BS like a politician and business-like approach has led to people not caring about future, so long as Trump isn’t in it. They will accept being worse off so long as Trump isn’t President.

So why post it? The forever-maskers, now headed outside of all places to beat their chests in anguish over maskless people (but probably won’t see this guy at a “protest” talking ****). I think it’s pretty telling actually. This guy goes to hang around a huge group of Trump supporters, is clearly acting like a condescending douche bag, and is never threatened or shouted down, and in fact pretty much accepted. Consider someone on the right going to a large Biden gathering to flip ****? They would be tagged with every label that describes them as a bigot, would likely be assaulted and no doubt would be kicked out. What’s the male version of a “Karen?” That’s what I just watched.

so why pick a side then? Isn't it obvious that both sides are an insane reflection of the degenerate electorate. I think rambo summed it up best...those who are obsessed with politics are "losers", although I would say they have lost their ability to change their minds which makes them dangerous but wrong, on both sides, and political zombies. Go ahead and vote but don't act like your candidate is good, best, smart, or aware or able to lead a nation like America. The reason for the electoral college is the ignorant, apathetic, and illiterate nature of the American public. This is not a new phenomena, just an effect of continued rejection of basic premises of higher level thought.

Yep, there's always me, whatever that means. Do you know what that means?

You said "it's hard to imagine anything so deliciously ridiculous as the screaming hoards of Trumpian turds flapping their toothless gums about making America great." I know you to be so deliciously ridiculous. Interesting, you are critical of toothless turds, but most of them would have immediately and easily understood the meaning of my response. Self-reflection time.

Still convinced Kamala won the debate?? 😄
It depends on your views going into the debate. I think she landed some blows, which I'm sure were lost on you, and Pence handled himself well, speaking to the Republican base effectively. At the end of the day covid is going to be the difference in the election. On the one hand Pence attempts to reinvent history by claiming the administration's response was incredible. That's a hard sell, even if you're inclined to believe him. Meanwhile, Trump downplays the threat, despite evidence to the contrary. So you got Pence saying one thing that a majority of Americans don't believe, and Trump saying another that confuses and frustrates even more. At the end of the day, that's going to tip the scales for Biden. It has to be galling that despite nearly four years of near daily controversy, Trump almost surely would be leading if not for his disastrous handling of the pandemic.

Here’s the thing, Trump outperformed the polls by 1-2% nationally in 2016 and 1-3% in swing states. All would be considered within a range, and there was about a 30% chance of what happened happening. But nobody said that, they just saw Hillary big National lead = win.

They should be like a forecast, Trump, as it sits with current polls, is only about half as likely to win this year as he was in 2016. That is subject to change, and there could always be that October surprise. Trump desperately wants another round of stimulus $ and will campaign hard on Big Ten football in 2 weeks, the race will tighten.

You talk about people being gullible and then talk about Trump being behind in those fake polls. That's funny stuff....

Reading your posts, and the comments of a few other choice board members, makes for a fascinating anthropological study. If your past behavior is any indication, I imagine you would have experienced a complete meltdown had those "wackjobs", as you call them, been associated with BLM. It's pretty obvious to the normal functioning human brain, but I'm sure you missed it, so let me explain the mechanics of your hypocrisy. You rant and rave about the alleged malfeasance of a movement that at its core is about calling attention to systemic issues of racism that have plagued this nation for centuries. BLM triggers something inside of you, it makes you irrationally angry. By comparison, we have these "wackjobs" who plotted to kill the democratically elected governor of a state for many of the same reasons you parrot here on the board, including the politics of covid and democratic policies you can't stomach. Without the slightest effort to consider the significance of what should at the very least give you a moment of pause, you seamlessly disassociate from them. It's almost as though you were programmed, or perhaps you're experiencing a psychotic break. I'm not sure, but you are a fascinating breed, dangerously hypocritical, but engrossing.

Pardon me while I destroy your ******** narrative.

Wouldn't polls showing Biden is ahead by wide margins create an attitude of "oh I don't need to vote at all for Joe since he is so far up?"
It's easy to call someone up and ask them what they would do and then report that.

What happens when people actually follow through is called reality and that appears to be different.

So last year Biden said he wouldn't pack the court.

Why cant he say that again now instead of saying his voters dont deserve to know.

I put into action the same battle plan I used for the Presidential debate.....

Did not go anywhere near a TV

Went on a badass bike ride

Spent the rest of the evening with my girl friend drinking my favorite bottle of wine in the $14.00 and under category.

I pronounced myself the winner for having much better things to do than watch that **** show.
I have a bottle of that. Haven't drank it yet.

There isn't a person on this board who knows anything. Economists, who spend their entire careers working on macro-economics have no idea whether debt is a good or bad thing in a global economy, they argue incessantly about taxation, investment, subsidy, welfare and which ones are better or worse. And although science is clear about virology, climate science the macro-view is muddled when it comes to decisive action and people who spend their lives on climate change do not know the direct actions to take...I work with a top climatologist who does not believe one bit in conservation but instead wants us to rely on geoengineering and advancement through technology. This board is predictably gross because people exemplify the DUNNING-KRUGAR effect, where they know so little about stuff they think they know alot. On both sides. They are spoon fed talking points from for profit media and then they regurgitate them. Even a successful businessman would have no true understanding of macroeconomics, and somebody like me who works in the science sector and with the poor and traumatized can't possibly know what it is like to run a fortune 500 company or how necessary that is...recognize your ignorance, still vote, still have discussion but don't act like you are right.

Blacks didn't choose them.

Lmao...no South Carolina and Biden would be at home now.

The most sellout black Democrat Congressman endorsed him. James Clyburn

Without black people choosing him in South Carolina. He would be nowhere.

Oh and others dropping out so he could win.

Choosing him over 2 black candidates. With less records of racist and discriminatory policies.

Hillary Clinton’s emails from 6 years ago seems like the exact issue that will persuade swing voters in a campaign happening in a pandemic and recession. Seems like the hangers on and grifters are grasping at straws at this point. I really think trump is angling to buy OANN when he is out of office and turning it in to Trump TV. I mean his hard core base subscription revenue would be a good business move.

Depends on what's in them.

They are doing this not to expose Hillary Clinton specifically, but to tie the entire Democrat party to it. Like it or not, this could paint the entire establishment in the same negative light and I think that's what they are after. Biden said "I am the democrat party". This could hurt him as not only an extention of the party but as the face of it.

And it's long overdue.

Some Republicans will come up as well.
