This one in Mathiston is still open. As long as we're talking about old grocery store chains...let me throw in Sunflower. I think the one in Indianola is still open but not sure.

Gillands' Pig. Don't knock it. Best store in Webster county. The Pig bakery in Ackerman had the best pastry I ever ate at one time; called em butterflies.

ETA The Pig in Hilton Head SC has to be the nicest one in the country. Fresh local seafood, looks awesome, great bakery...

One still open in Port Gibson, as well.

I lived there years ago and loved that store. Plenty of taxidermy on the walls, and the checkout ladies used to smoke at the register while ringing you up.
