Two more golfers dropped out of the anti-trust suit - Ancer and Kokrak. LIV Golf, however, is now part of the suit.
The biggest hurdle will be them trying to argue harm here. As the previous judge pointed out, LIV contracts were written to compensate for potential lost PGA earnings, sponsorships, etc. LIV is trying to argue now that the reason they have to pay those high dollars is because of the PGA Tour's threats to ban players. It's an interesting stance to take for sure.
It's going to be a fascinating suit but it seems like this thing won't even get going until late 2023. Geezus. LOL.
EDIT: ESPN reporting Smith is leaving for sure and also Niemann, who interestingly was at the Tiger meeting. The rest are lower ranked guys like Laihairi and Varner.
