Has anyone seen the LIV promo video just released? Very well done.

I’m watching the live stream. The team format seems like a joke, but the leaderboard graphics are pretty effective imo.

Bubba Watson and Matthew Wolfe show up in the video. Might they be the next to join?

From a $ standpoint it makes a lot of sense for Watson.

Over time? you really think the numbers are going to change much with people watching the next day? Come on.

Networks want live events for a reason.
Yes, that is the point of streaming. It is available for people to watch when they want to. Stop acting so old. :)

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Viewership will go up when the events come to the US. I watched both days. Not sure why the golf press is so against this tour. I thought more golf was supposed to be better.

They need a ton of help with the field. Tough to have 48 guys and 5 are +15 or worse.

Stop trying to make a point that isn't there. The #s are horrible and there isn't some huge audience waiting in the wings that would make any difference.

Beginning? I just enlighten you about what was going on with the PGA Tour vs the players. You think this is just a Phil thing. It's not. It's the players being threatened by the PGA Tour which is different then the PGA Association, both under the PGA shield.
They should all be banned sponsors dump alot of $$$ into the PGA they expect ROI in return. All these greedy *** shitbirds now want participation trophies ($$$$) for just showing up. How about playing better and work on your game. It's really sad and pathetic they are paying has beens a shitload of $$$ for nothing. This gold model is non sustainable. If I ever go to another golf tourney these greedy shitbirds are in will heckle the **** out of them

Wow! Someone seems very angry. And out of touch!
Only the PGA Tour and majors do not pay appearance fees at all. The European Tour now the DP Tour sponsored by the UAE (who have their own human rights issues) can pay and do pay appearance fees. Their sponsors love it too. Why do you think Tiger, Phil, Rory play in overseas tournaments?? Been going on forever.
If a PGA Tour player meets the 15 mandatory tournaments then they should be able to do what the want in their free time. I suppose you don't watch any sports. Dirty money is in all of them.
Good look sticking around a PGA tour event heckling everyone. And they don't refund your ticket fee when they toss your *** out. 🤣

I really don’t get why people are so angry over this tour. They always told us more golf was better. Also most of these current players were not going to win much (if at all on the PGA). Even DJ. Right now it’s like the late career tour. It will get better once players like Bryson join.

To be honest I have been watching less golf because the PGA has been kind of dull. I’m one of those guys that also watches the Euro and LPGA tours. This will be another interest.

LIV just gave Pat Perez a $10M signing bonus to join up. In 19 PGA Tour events this season he has earned just over $1M. Sounds like they have offers out to many more Tour players.

By the time LIV comes to Bedminster NJ at the end of July the field will be much stronger.

Final round is underway now.

The LIV will buy the players for the tour in the beginning until the PGA cries uncle and accepts players being able to play in the LIV tour while retaining PGA eligibility.

I expect an arrangement will eventually be made so LIV & PGA tour dates don't conflict with the others.

This is very likely the end game for both tours. Stop being jerks and figure out how best to co-exist.

Very few people interested in watching sports after the fact. Sports are a live event. Maybe highlights later, but that is about it

If people are mad about golfers participating in a tour funded by Saudi Arabia, they are going to be very mad when they find out who owns StubHub - the official ticket partner of Rutgers Athletics.
I’m just wondering if these same people were equally as upset when we participated in Olympics and World Cups held in both Russia and (more specifically) China in recent years.

Hes a greedy scumbag who will miss more cuts on tour than he makes and will make more money playing in a has been tour. If he was t such a low life gambling piece of **** maybe he would have much more money of the 800 million plus he has made off the game. Pretty ironic another douchebag in Trump will be fielding a number of the LIV tourneys seeing as thre PGA pretty much banned him from the game....the whole world of sports is just **** now

My beef is not with any players but it’s a joke of a tour. The talent is weak. The team concept adds nothing. The shotgun start takes away from the excitement and it’s not on TV. Next they will wear He Hate Me on the back of their shirts.

This format is Much more TV friendly, imo: I bet they get a tv deal soon

PGA is full of old rich men trying to keep their gravy train running.
LIV is a rich country trying to be the gravy train and have golf fans on their side
As far as low viewership, Saudi Arabia can afford to put the bucks in waiting for the viewership to improve, as the LIV tour adds more members that people like to follow.
