Oregon came out and punched Utah in the face and Utah never recovered. Best game Oregon played this year especially on defense.

Both QBs had more yards running across the field than ours had running forward. What a difference with some speed and quick thinking.

Assuming Utah wins:

If #6 OU jumps Utah with a win why wouldn't #7 Baylor jump them with a win?

Does Utah need a blowout to stay ahead of the the OU/Baylor winner?
Just said on CGD Baylor has the 130th ranked non conference schedule....let's see how much that dings them if they should win. Rob Mullens the chair said we look at the full resume and non conference is a piece of that but they also look at conference games and Baylor has been impressive the last few weeks.

I wouldn't call Utah a "Pretender". They had an off night and Oregon had their number.

I do think Oklahoma had the better claim than Georgia or Utah.. they are all good teams.. obviously. Maybe we'll get to see Utah vs Georgia somewhere with Oklahoma as the 4th team.

Please, of please, dear lord do not let Georgia beat LSU.

Georgia defeating LSU would be ESPN's dream. Hopefully, it won't happen. And OSU better defeat Wisconsin (again) in the B1G CCG, to ensure that the B1G is represented in the Final Four this year.

I think LSU is still in with a loss and OSU is in with a loss...it would just affect seeding.

You know I was reading an article this morning and I didn't realize no P5 team has gone 10-0 in conference play. Basically alluding to the PAC12 and I guess B10 also making things harder on themselves. OSU would be the first team to go 10-0 in conference play should they beat Wisconsin today.

Luicci lost it.. Georgia is not as good as people say. The entire SEC is not that good this year. They all played close games with eachother..

Who did Georgia Beat? Notre Dame when they were number 7? They got crushed by Michigan.

Who did LSU beat? Texas? Who ended up with 5 losses.

Who did Bama beat? No one.. they lost to LSU and Auburn.

Who did Auburn beat? Oregon by 6 in the early season at a neutral site.. Cowboys ATT Stadium.. a virtual home game by crowd.

Who the heck is this 5th team Luicci is in love with.. Florida?

I'm sorry.. but the SEC teams are ranked high because they started high and beat eachother. I know.. the same can be said for most teams in most conferences.. they do not play the better teams in OOC play so how can you gauge? Assumptions are made. I do think LSU deserves number 2.. undefeated teams deserve such respect. And if they handle Georgia easily maybe they should be number 1. Save LSU, I think Utah or Oregon might beat any of these SEC teams.

yes, of course. but that would mean Georgia is in too and the SEC has another 50% chance to produce a national champion. All because of early season salesmanship and "rankings". ESPN (and all networks) want to promote ranked team vs ranked team games. So do writers and coaches... it helps with recruiting and as we see here. chance to coach a playoff team with a shot at the NC. Hopefully LSU beats Georgia and OSU beats Wisconsin and we get to see a 4 conference-champ playoff.

If they pick a 2 loss Georgia (or LSU) over 1 loss Big 12 Champ (OU or Baylor) would cause quite the "conversation" again about expanded playoffs.

I don't think they will...I think winner of the B12 game likely gets in.....I suppose a really close hard fought UGA loss to LSU might get them in over Baylor but that would be the only scenario. If OU wins they're in.

I always question if ANY SEC can win outside of the south on a neutral site... but, PAC12 is soft....
