Benitez 2.0 became unreliable since the 2015 World Series. If Calloway holds all accountable like he did with Harvey, he needs to demote familia and give Ramos the opportunity to close and if Ramos fails then gsellman. Benitez 2.0 has already blown 3 games in April. Also how many times Do no names shut down this team such as wisler and gant today. Same old squad that can't hit when it matters and bullpen sucks when it matters most. Also matz needs to be on watch to be demoted to the bullpen. He's unwatchable with his pathetic curve and breaking balls

Yeah what's up with Rosario. I didn't expect him to be hit much right away, and he hasn't. But he came up with a reputation as a great glove man. Defense is supposed to be consistent. If you can catch and throw in the minors, you're supposed to be able to catch and throw in the majors. So far, Rosario has done neither.

Why would you reference a “lead against the Yanks”. It’s irrelevant. Need to worry about Phillies, Nationals, and Braves.

Lagares is another bum who has no need to be on a ML Roster. He can't hit to save his life and his fielding is way overrated. He is far from a Golden Glove.

Lol, They still have the lead in the division, and a better record than the Yankees. Do you know how to read the standings?lol Anything short of a WS appearance THIS season will be an epic fail for your beloved Yankees, and I will be laughing my *** off. When that happens, and it will, Cashman, and Boone will have to pay the price. You get within one game of that goal, sign the most dynamic player in baseball, and not take the next step. This fall will bring many baseball fans a satisfying results, as the Evil Empire will collapse under the huge amount of pressure they carried all summer long.

Why can't they just go out and get an actual pitching staff? I mean, don't you think with the money they're paying Cespedes and Bruce they could get a couple guys who can actually throw meaningful strikes?

The young pitching staff, other than deGrom and Thor are the walking wounded.
Your guy Harvey will never be the same.
Matz and Wheeler are not far behind.
Move Lugo and Gsellman in the starting rotation and move the underperformers out to the pen.

Yeah there was a guy available who won 18 games last year and made the all-star team. Why can't they get somebody like that?

Mickey’s influence certainly hasn’t helped so far. In fact, they may have gotten worse.
