-My fault. I forgot Friday is an off day.
-After last season with the Nationals, this series sets the tone for 2018.
100% agree. Last season the Mets fell behind so fast and the Nats never looked back. Only ignorant Yankee fans can't or won't see that there's a dramatic difference between last years team and this years team. They changed so much in the off season from top to bottom, and that breath of fresh air hopefully will sustain through the season. On the flip side, the Yankees are under extreme pressure from top to bottom after signing Stanton and stupidly letting Giradi walk after such a out of no where great season.

of course there is such a thing.

If it comes down to a close race in the division with the Nats, our taking this series could be that difference-maker.
You never want to fall behind double digits before the month is over.Need to show the league, last year was a aberration.

I have the app and Watched SNY yesterday. Today it Told me the game was not available.
Dont know why it does that now. Last year was no problem. Maybe too many people streaming it? I had to reset it a few times until the game came back on.

Said something about local blackout restrictions. I never got that message before.

I'd have no problem if this board turned into the Wild Wild West. It's gonna be a fun year with Yankee fans shedding tears all season. Pretty much figured they won the World Series the day they signed Stanton.

Mets appear to be playing really well to start off the season: I think it's all gonna depend on whether they can stay healthy.
If they can keep their focus, they can have a good run for the division. Just do it again tomorrow.

This is why winning as many games as possible early in the season is more important than it might be if injuries were less of a risk. The Nationals will be very tough to beat out over 162 games. If Conforto, Cespedes and the starting rotation can stay healthy, this can be a fun season.

I just think his message got old. You know this, sometimes it's not the message, but the messenger.
Collins and Werthen shouldve been gone in 2015 but the WS saved them. Callaway and Eiland has done a great with the team and with the pitchers so far. I love it that Callaway have them playing Small Ball first couple of weeks.

A couple of more things:
-So far, Cabrera has shut me up...
-Rosario should be in the lineup everyday now. Reyes has no business on the team. PERIOD.

Let's keep it going.

Rosario will of course be in the lineup most days. But rightly or wrongly, Callaway is going to protect him for now. Expect to see Reyes against tough righties with nasty breaking stuff.

Mets win another insignificant game. At some point they do add up though.

When major league teams miss the playoffs by one game, there are no insignificant games. They all count
